my view on SQL server

What do you like best about the product?
From my experience, Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Web on Windows Server 2019 offers a solid balance between performance and cost for web applications. I’ve found it particularly effective for small to medium-sized projects where you need reliable speed and good scalability without overspending.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s great for basic web applications, you miss out on advanced features like SQL Server Agent for scheduling and certain performance optimizations that are available in the Standard or Enterprise editions. I’ve also found the licensing model a bit restrictive since it's tailored specifically for web hosting, which can limit flexibility if your needs grow beyond that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Web edition includes enough features to manage data, maintain reliability, and ensure security without the complexity or cost of higher-tier editions. By running on Windows Server 2019, it also benefits from modern server features, making deployments smoother and easier to manage.
