DynaTrace is an incredibly powerful tool for developers

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you are able to see deep insights into production transactions and issues. We're also able to analyze pod and application metrics easily. It has given us incredible insight into our application's availability and performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards aren't used that much from a developer perspective, so they feel a bit pointless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to detect problems incredibly quickly and solve issues in minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
DT is very useful when it comes to identifying problems. I enjoy all the different offerings it provides to get to the root cause.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today on the SaaS solution it seems like I need to reload a lot of the apps whenever I spend a couple of minutes on one. For instance I can be looking at services in a management zone and select one of my services. After doing some analysis and clicking the service app once more, I would hope it take me to see all my services again but this is not the case it just displays the same service i was just seeing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DT has been instrumental when it comes to problem finding and it has enable me to find root cause faster and push fixes almost immediate once the root cause has been identified or even rollback to a previous working version.

I see no disadvantages in the use of Dynatrace.

Easy installation, easy to use, wide range of supported technologies

Not much downsides except not so cheap and that many cool features are only in SaaS

Most problems are application related, so application unavailability, crashes, network issues, slowdowns in response times.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace allows us to easily trace logs across many different systems and products. The problem workspace lets us quickly identify and drill into active issues and resolve quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace is a very large system and it can take a lot of time to understand all of the benefits and best ways to look for the information it has within.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving observability, alerting and tracing.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the depth of information available from the platform, and the different services offered that make troubleshooting and monitoring easier. It is easy to implement and install the agent, and it will be used frequently as we get more familiar with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit overwhelming to learn due to the amount of information and services available, but that is not necessarily a bad problem to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us with monitoring and diagnosing cloud infrastructure issues, as well as on-prem issues, and it ties all the information between both systems well.
