What do you like best about the product?
I like the deep dive data collection and analysis it does with One Agent rather than multiple agents.

Also tight integration capabilities with Service now
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much except that it can add capabilities of Log collection and analytics solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly the application performance issue and end user difficulties in access applications.
It really benefited the multiple support teams to get the problem isolated rather than pointing fingers
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Dynatrace if they are really looking for In depth APM solution

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace affords is quick and easy to get going. It immediately comes with a massive selection of powerful metrics, automatic correlation and anomaly detection. It simply is up to you to point it in the direction you want its attention.

Once set up, the world is your oyster. The tool is highly extensible and affords its users every opportunity to monitor what they want, how they want, which is extremely powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with everything, cost is an inhibiting factor. Though the initial setup is quick and painless, mastering everything seems it can take a lifetime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick, successful troubleshooting at the application, environment and individual user levels are all things that have been done using the Dynatrace AppMon product. With Dynatrace Managed coming, this should increase tenfold.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tool is incredibly powerful. Be aware of what your business goals are and ensure that you are not using a chainsaw to try and slice bread.

Integrating a product is an easy thing to do.

Debugging an issue with agent took a bit longer

We are trying to see how an one agent will get updated without recycling kubernetes pods.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of installation. Excellent representation of information collected. We had the base installation up and running within 3 days, collecting and representing valid data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features on their road map are further out than I would like them to be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving application flow issues and have realized a number of system improvements that have increased customer satisfaction. Davis provides real alerting and insights into trends within our environment. We have also used their API tools to further extend our installation.

The power dashboarding, Usql and session replay.

I haven't explored all the features yet. Nothing that \i dislike yet.

Monitoring the service health and creating alerts.

Dynatrace is feature rich! Use it for all your monitoring and alerting needs!

Dynatrace provides an excellent BizOps view for end users.

it can be a steep adoption curve for those transitioning from legacy monitoring tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring of legacy platforms, local PaaS & Cloud migrations.
the quick implementation, low configuration has enabled us to rapidly roll out.
Out of the box you get an immediate view of the landscape that can then be tuned as you go to enhance naming & visibility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
start with low hanging fruit first, build up confidence and experience.

The product's capability to inject itself into the application infrastructure with minimal human intervention.

At the moment, it is scoring check-marks in all the right places

Better transparency into what Production is doing

Plan ahead. There is a wrong way of implementing this tool, and an amazingly accurate way of implementing this tool. You want to be the latter.
