Excellent tool, all in one place, easy to manage team work
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to create a board for any project task, and it really easy to manage the assignment that involves other team members. The addition of the time zone makes it easy to know what time is for each team member without double-checking the local time on a separate app or website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, really. The only thing that I would change is the sidebar, where you can see the board name. I would make it a little bit wider or have the option to expand to the desired wide to make it easy to read the board's name. When you have a long title that starts more o less with the exact words, it's not easy to find the right board at first sight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduce the need to have control meetings every day. Reduce the team's stress; we don't need to check with each one of the members regarding the progress of one task, as they can write updates in the pulses every day at the end of their day. Make it easy to find a document, a note, and it is excellent for keeping records of the emails chat. Everything can be copied in a post. Also, make it really easy to coordinate the work among several team members that have interrelated tasks because each member can see the status of the task by checking the board, and they know in one second if they can start with their task or need to wait, without the need of phone call, message or similar. When your team is from many parts of the world, this is a crucial feature because sometimes it is impossible to have a call or get an answer due to time differences. For us has been an excellent tool for the last seven years, and we continue finding more ways to use it.

I personnally use it as a data base which is very practical with the form. It is very easy to export to excel and exploit data from there too.

We are still seeing some limits in the conditioning of the columns that I hoped will be improved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As customer success manager, we are dealing mostly with social media complaints that are handled by a different departments. Thru forms, other departments submit requests and we have a clear view of what are the pending case.
It is also very easy to classify and measure what is happening thanks to the dashboards.

As i will get to know about the cons of the "Monday board" I will update it here. till now it is fantastic.

No problems with anything specific. Sometimes a bit too much information. But better too much than too little.

We use Monday daily in our work, it has become a very important and useful tool for us, I like how easy and logical it is, how teams and departments can collaborate all together and work as one.
They have very good and fast Customer service, and also I like the fact that they are improving all the time! almost every 2 weeks or so we find new features and improvements.

What do you dislike about the product?
to be honest, there is nothing I dislike, there are things that I would like to see improved for example in the Forms, I have a board that like 20 forms, each form represents a different channel, so when a client fills the form I can identify from where this form came from, in order to do that now I have to create for each form a group and when the client fills the form it comes into the specific group. so I have like 25 groups on this board.
It would be great to have the form with a default "status" for example this form when filled, I want to come to the same group as all but with the default status "WhatsApp" so I only have 1 group for all forms and I know the channel according to the default status (this status is not visible to clients).
I hope i see this change soon and it would make our lives easier

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is solved for us was the way we work together with different departments, and how easy it is to understand, everything is visible for everyone and you can all collaborate together.
The efficient task manager for the creative technology studio
What do you like best about the product?
As the PM, I find the combination of the flexibility + pre-sets on Monday.com one of the most convenient features. By that, I meant that I would normally take the existing board model (say: expense tracker) and adjust it to our needs as we go. As the creative studio, we are very versatile in our projects in needs but as the company dealing with tech, we strongly need to stay very well organized. Monday.com helps to achieve this. It is also quite intuitive to learn, UX from my point of view is great, it helps, at the very least, to keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be happy to get more intuitive tools on how to track my own tickets/performance. Like the dashboard to start my own day with, helping me to make sure I don't forget anything. I am managing a lot of projects and assigning/being assigned a lot of tickets, and developing an easier way to just double-check I haven't forgotten any ticket would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing production and design with Monday.com. We also use Monday.com docs to submit regular reports (EOD, Mid-week, End-of-Week). We have also been keeping the developer side there but are moving the dev part to Jira now. Monday is easier to navigate for people with less experience in Jira or non-engineering background for sure.

Columns and a cleaner interface would help get the best experience. have had trouble with the colour tab as it would not change the default grey and instead change and create a new colour group in labels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have saved a tremendous amount of time avoiding searching through the documents as I have everything in one place and it has increased my performance by more than 50%

If you have a tedious job and requires a lot of attention and management Monday will be of a great help.

I couldn't operate without the automations and the fact that they are constantly rolling out new ones enhances the platform so much more!

The notifications are overwhelming, forcing us to lean on outlook integrations to send email, ensuring people are notified.

Tansparency of workload, task ownership and accountability, removing duplication of work, resource efficiency and removing bottlenecks from workflows.
