An easy to use experience
What do you like best about the product?
monday.com provides an amazingly easy to use platform that consolidated a lot of our existing software packages.
What do you dislike about the product?
We found that some of the messaging was confusing when it came to users vs seats vs guests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
software consolidation, ease of set up was what sold our team
The Many Faces of Monday.com
What do you like best about the product?
We like how highly customizable Monday.com is. It's not a one-trick pony. kanban, gantt charts, check lists..
What do you dislike about the product?
Not entirely happy with how the automations are laid out

Amazing project management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I think the most useful thing about Monday is the flexibility. I haven't even dug into all of the capabilities - seems like they are neverending. There is something for every use case that we've run into so I'm very happy with it overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I dislike yet :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to customize boards and workspaces depending on the user or project has been SO helpful.
My favorite functions are 'sub items' and 'dependancy.' The automations are so user friendly, and integrating with other platforms such as Slack is super easy as well.

Excel on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Back in the days, I was using Excel to track, well, everything. My monthly budget, project's progress, to-do lists. Even my wedding party. It was simple, highly customizable, did the job. And, what's the most important, it was versatile. When Google introduced its Spreadsheets, I lost it. I was in heaven, walking on a Google Cloud, getting work done and stuff. When I thought it couldn't get any better, a friend of mine showed me Monday. O. M. G. Remember the duel scene from "Revenge of the Sith"? UNLIMITED POWAAAAH. Like taking your socks off after a long day, no kidding. But enough about me. I love all the things that make Excel excellent, plus the fact it gives you some powerful features that make it even better. You can run a billion-dollar company and have all the processes under control. You can set up a startup and make sure you won't overlook anything. Monday can replace dozen other tools: budget planning, scheduling marketing activities, oversee your sales process and many more. It doesn't matter if you offer services, run a production company, you're into SaaS, eCommerce, IT, retail - it will bring a lot of added value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the right tool stack is a part of my job. Personally, I can't point out any things I dislike regarding Monday. I know some may be overwhelmed by its complexity (I don't think it's a bad thing!) or find it problematic when switching from other tools. But let's be honest, we all used Excel at some point of our lives, and it's not THAT hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales and marketing planning, HR processes, task management, product backlog, bug tracking, project management, tracking monthly / quarterly / yearly progress in company's goals — all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're taking Monday under consideration but are in the process of testing other tools - stop right there. Been there, done that. If it fits your needs, nothing else will do it better.
Keeps projects on-track from "idea" to "done"!
What do you like best about the product?
Work-wise, I've been using Monday for the past 1-2 years. You can keep things simple (like a to-do list that emails you when a task comes due) or as complicated as needed. We've used Monday to solve problems, keep our team informed about what is in progress and final decisions, created an on-boarding system, and event to track and solve issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have multiple people working in your boards, and you're using many boards, the notifications can get a bit overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to track problems with our systems and issues with our team, and then identify common denominators to form solutions. This was not something we were doing before Monday, and it's helped immensely!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! Start small with simple boards, and make sure your team uses the boards in similar ways from the get-go (makes things so much easier). Also, automations and integrations make things amazing!
Great experience!
What do you like best about the product?
Enjoyed the layout and how user friendly it was
What do you dislike about the product?
Wished I could intergrate my email when trying to track certain projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has helped us organize and track our various contracts
Excellent Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's effortless to create simple tracking boards but also can build much more in-depth tracking systems. I can easily communicate specific tasks and requirements to my team, ensuring all processes are completed in full.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up email reminders for specific tasks versus generic Monday.com emails can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am tracking daily tasks and checklists, as well as much more extensive projects - it is excellent for both of these tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When comparing Monday.com to other project management tools (i.e., Sharepoint), Monday.com stands out as the most user-friendly and visually appealing tool that I have used. Unlike Sharepoint, Monday.com does not require users to have specific "design" or edit skills to create tracking tools. Any person or employee can easily create a board on Monday.com without previous in-depth training.
Excellent to help organize and coordinate with my business partners.
What do you like best about the product?
Very helpful that I'm able to see all the various correspondence with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative is I didn't find Monday sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem solved is keeping all our info in one central location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best business decision we made.
Seamless tracking of projects
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking projects and assignments based on people and work. Great for project management, tracking timesheets and tracking different projects within each.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is great but sometimes due to multiple options it gets complicated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, time and cost tracking, task management and other great features
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Provide training for the platform through creating a mock-up project and going through all the available options and features available.
Monday.com has helped us be more organized, more accountable and ultimately more productive.
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is intuitive and doesn't require a high level of end user training. Once setup, employees can experiment and be creative with their designs or utilize the pre-made templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing costs can increase quickly and as the product is very user friendly it can spread quickly within the organization. You also have to subscribe to the Pro or Enterprise versions to get the best features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing workloads for sure. Improving department and individual accountability for tasks and getting work completed on time.
