Centreon-Network monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone in network industry needs the software to monitor their network.We are using one of the best monitoring tool i.e centreon.It is easy tool for use and monitor.We have placed our switches and router in different cities.From our main office using the centreon we are monitoring our devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It required to much place in RAM in our computer to install it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centreon contains database of devices.When our any device goes down via centreon we trace that device and informed to our concern team.It very easy to live monitor using centreon.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you wants to monitor the switches and router then its very good software.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using centreon to monitor our ISP network in different cities. Centreon contains database like IP and location of our device.We easily able know about the down devices.It also highlight the down devices by red color.Network monitoring becomes very easy.It also shows total count of up and down devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It got hanged frequently.It required more space in our computer to run centreon application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are checking the down devices(e.g router and switches) then we forward information of that switch to concern team for further troubleshooting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in network industry then go for it.It is good for monitoring the switches and routers.

What do you like best about the product?
We are working on network industry. We have placed our router and switches in different cities. It is very useful for monitor our devices and customers linternet link. It contain database and ip details which will help to find detail connectivity of link.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it will slow at the time of refresh. There is no other dislike about it.

We are working in networking field and we provides Leas line internet connection to our clients.We used centreon to keep clients database.By using centreon we are able to do monitoring very easily.Centreon contains database of clients including IP addresses,location and accurate time of clients link down or link up.
What do you dislike about the product?
When centreon gets hanged we are unable to monitor clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While monitoring when clients link is showing down we are able to communicate with clients using the database.Due to IP addresses,we are able to find customer easily.We also monitor switches and router that are in our network.

The use of centreon is good if you are in a network field.It will fulfill your needs surely.

Centreon is good application for for network industry.It having good features.We using it for monitor our ISP network.We are using switches and router for our network. Centreon is really helpful to monitor that devices.

What do you like best about the product?
accessing network devices from remote location without any interrupt is easy with Centreon. with so many functions gives detailed information about the Network devices. warns about the devices are critical or not.with a single screen shows all the options no need for a different window.

status of live devices are sometimes shows incorrect. that even if device is up it shows down, latency between Centreon and live status.

As a part of IT services. need to monitor all ongoing sessions on the devices, checking packet loss with the auto ping. up/down time of devices for further escalation. taking updates of servers with NAS IP. applying configuration with trigger updates.
