Improved Client Onboarding

  • January 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SecureW2 eases the onboarding of users into a secure wireless network, no more dealing with trust certificates or inputting passwords. As an administrator, it also simplifies deploying a PKI infrastructure without the onsite administrative burden.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything the dashboards could use some updates to provide a better snapshot of clients connecting over time frames.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding users into a secure wireless/wired environment.

Great service, easy set up and great support.

  • January 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This setup not only prevented student access to staff networks (previously possible with PSK), but it also segregated personal and official devices of staff members, limiting internal network access appropriately. The ease of integration without major infrastructure changes was a significant plus, reducing the burden on our network management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. SecureW2 is a great resource for small school districts with limited resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The switch to certificate-based authentication eliminated the need for password rotations every two years, saving considerable time and effort. Additionally, we no longer needed frequent checks on our Meraki controller to detect students on staff networks, streamlining administrative tasks significantly.

Best product I have seen for Onboarding and TLS

  • January 02, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are many options for you to tweak what is set and the language to make it better suited for your needs. The SecureW2 team is also quick to respond to any questions we may have. Being able to use their web-based installer made it very easy to implement and make it accessible for all the users that need to run it. As we are a school each year we have a new influx of students that use it at the beginning of the year, but we also use it in troubleshooting those who had not run it previously to make sure they are configured properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While this is also a plus, all those options for you to change means there can be a learning curve to get to understand the process all the way through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They not only help with onboarding BYOD devices to our legacy authenticated network with EAP-PEAP/MSChapv2 but are also running the PKI for our expanding use of EAP-TLS

The best solution

  • December 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the whole solution. The customer service, ease of use and the ease of integration. The implementation was easy and we get support from Secure W2 team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution is almost good. May be they have to review the price for small k12 schools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud Radius for wifi authentification with Azure AD. The benefit is that we don't have local infrastructure

SecureW2 Makes Wi-Fi Authentication Easy

  • December 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With SecureW2, we are finally able to stop using user name an passwords for Wi-Fi authentication and strictly use machine based certificates. This has alleviated several pain points with our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer a multi-year pricing discount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When users change passwords, their Wi-Fi access is still valid because with SecureW2, machine-based certificates are used. Also, having Wi-Fi access at the lock screen is vital for installing system updates.

Cost effective and --well, just effective!

  • December 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The integration team is absolutely fantastic. I have never had such a smooth onboarding process for a product from any vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zero downsides that I've found. There may be some concerns for students switching to a JoinNow module to connect to WiFi, rather than just typing in their credentials, but this is the way the industry is moving for security's sake and I no longer think it's acceptable for PEAP username / password authentication to be used in a modern network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SecureW2 is the missing piece of the puzzle that is required for both managed and unmanaged assets to securely connect to our wireless network. Certificate authentication can be taken care of by a myriad of products, but certificate deployment is a very challenging task across many different ecosystems of products.

Connecting Azure Joined devices to a secure certficate based Wireless Network

Had a great check-in with Eric Zughaib about our SecureW2 Cloud RADIUS.

  • October 04, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The support available to our team to configure and optimize our SecureW2 Cloud RADIUS tenant and configuration profiles. Also the various methods we can deliver secure Wifi profiles to our users, on both managed and BYO devices are fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a search bar in the portal to search for a particular setting/section. Currently I have to look it up or go through each nav menu item till I find something pertaining to what I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving wifi authentication off-prem and into the cloud! It makes management of our network and endpoints much easier, plus now we no longer have to manage an on-site RADIUS server.

Impressed with the service and tools provided

  • September 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find their web portal for administration intuitive and easy to use. I like how hooking InTune and Jamf into SecureW2 service is easy. Overall an easy to use service that relieves our IT team from supporting our own PKI and Radius infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
During our first week using SecureW2 service they had a 30 minute partial outage with their service. Of course we were concerned about that. Hopefully such outages will be rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to use a cloud service for PKI and Radius rather than supporting our own servers. Generally cloud services are backed by better redundancy and fault tolerance than our own infrastructure.

We have been using SecureW2 now for over a year its a great service never experianced down time and have very little issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
For our buissness the cost is quiet steep but worth it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Google certificate logins via WPA2 Enterprise, making it easy for staff roaming between sites
