Efficient Translation, Seamless Memory Feature

What do you like best about the product?
I love how XTM Cloud makes my translation work extremely easy, especially with its automatic memory service. The ease of using it is fantastic, and the setup process was straightforward. The memory feature is excellent—it recalls repeated words which saves me a lot of time in my translation business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that when I minimize the window in XTM Cloud, it doesn’t automatically adjust the translation view to fit within the smaller window.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM Cloud saves me significant time in my translation work by automatically recalling repeated words through its memory feature, thus enhancing efficiency in my translation business.

What do you like best about the product?
The projects overview is a great and easy to use. Setting up projects is easily done and the use of templates for this is really a time-saver. The workflow design is flexible and powerful and I think the majority of use cases can be realized with this. The support is mostly helpful and quick in response and their support setting up templates is good. Their API is extensive, compensating for the lack of native integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything related to machine and AI translation is absolutely disastrous. You can merely specify which MTs you can use, but you cannot do much in terms of prompt design, tonality, the use of XTM's own TM and glossary for MT fuzzy completion let alone translation. An AI bot to support translators honing their translation is nowhere near. While other tools heavily invest in this field of functionalities, XTM is incapable of joining this evolution. And this for many years and for what I can tell for the next years to come. It does not offer any sort of cross-language communication on a segment level, only on a project level. The few integrations they offer out of the box are pricey and often not functioning as expected. Some bugs reported months and years ago are still not fixed, heavily affecting our day to day business.

To put the icing on the cake, the pricing increased over the years while they are not able to implement industry standard features in a steady flow.

Streamline and automate translations for software, customer service, marketing, and accompanied materials.

I only used XTM for a short time but it was usable and fast enough for the time I used it.

What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to use and the money transfer was fast. I think XTM will be used for many payment methods in the future.

It seems like a disadvantage that it is not popular enough and not known by everyone.

What do you like best about the product?
XTM Cloud helps manage big translation projects with smart workflows and automation. It connects easily with other tools to speed up work and keep things consistent. The built-in translation memory and glossary features always helped me maintain the quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
XTM Cloud was hard to learn for me at first due to the a bit too complex interface. The design feels a bit outdated and not very user-friendly. Smaller teams might find it too advanced or expensive for their needs (I would put a highlight on expensive).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM Cloud helps me handle large translation projects faster by automating tasks and organizing the work better. It keeps all our translations and terms in one place, so everything stays consistent. We can easily work with teams and vendors around the world. This saves time and helps us deliver content to other markets more quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Glad I discovered this service, unique in its genre. The connectivity, possibility to share it, I use it with my friends and we found it quite useful
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a not easy question. I would start with the chance to use advanced functionality such as availability for the service to check how the experience is offline but also at the weekends. We noticed fluidity as not good as other competitors

We are not each one from the same country and it helps a lot to break this albarrier

CAT tools are familiar to me, such a platform is new; some features should be more user friendly; AI integration is slow and not transparent + bound to type of package

What do you like best about the product?
It's very effective when handling standard projects. Support is generally responsive when issues arise. Company overall is becoming more customer focused.
What do you dislike about the product?
Product is behind other CAT tools. Compatibility with MT and LLMs are behind competitors. Some tickets are opened for several months before they are resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's excellent at handling standard translation projects.

Ever-expanding API to automate workflows.
LSP integration.
Consistently helpful customer support.
Overall, an excellent translation management system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor lacks the refinement or customizations options of other tools.
Same for the integrated terminology tool.
Overall, a good CAT tool, but with room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage translations for multiple products and document types in several languages.
We're able to automate continuously updating projects and provide our translators a clear task pool.
We're able to coordinate with LSPs with zero media breaks.
