Fully integrated, web-based experience, no file handling
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up and to learn, fantastic user experience for client user in-country review, supports any type of production chain from individual translator to language services provider
What do you dislike about the product?
As a language services supplier, we have different requirements than industry users. Namely some configuration possibilities on system level should be on customer level. XTM has always worked on solving this for us and several improvements were already made in this respect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
International collaboration with employees or freelancers without having to send a single file around, all while respecting strict data security and confidentiality rules. Important time savings were obtained for translation project management. Collaboration with subject matter experts and client-side reviewers who have little to no affinity to CAT tools.
XTM is a new state-of-the-art software solution
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the cloud solution of XTM since 2016. Today, I especially appreciate the new features of the latest release V12.8.
XTM supports simpletext in managing simplification projects, and offers translation and review in context which is very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The XTM AI framework is not including or is not yet sufficiently trained to support intralingual translation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a localization partner of XTM, we solve the need to research the latest AI developments in the translation field and benefit from a new state-of-the-art software solution.

A True Enterprise-wide TMS
What do you like best about the product?
Although a lot of TMS systems on the market today purport to be "enterprise," very few cover the real needs of enterprise customers who are dealing with multiple in-house submitters (or "Customers" in XTM-speak), each with different requirements and a wide array of demands. XTM is a system that aids centralized, in-house localization teams within an enterprise to do the heavy lifting required when repeated requests are coming from a myriad of internal customers --- each with differing objectives, file formats, processing requirements, stakeholder review processes, etc. Additionally, the XTM Solutions support team is knowledgeable, helpful, quick to respond and have the experience to know general localization best-practices to guide customers on correct and effective TMS implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs a full UI/UX refresh (I understand this is in the works), and the naming of a few functions could be re-worded to minimize confusion, but that's all I would change. Otherwise, the power of XTM is evident to anyone who has the know-how to wield the *full* power of an "industrial-grade" TMS system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing translation and related services to customers who have purchased XTM as their TMS of choice. We use numerous TMS systems within our company on a daily basis and XTM expertise and knowledge is in our top 3 customer requests in regard to TMS.
Your go to for Translations
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to integrate with your CMS & the XTM cloud is easily manageable. Configuring new Machine translation engines is super easy.
Amanda Leur - the solutions architect is the best. She is super quick to respond & always provides efficient solutions. I cannot thank her enough for the continuous support she provides to our organizations translation needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely room for improvement on their UI. There is no straightforward way to turn off the TM, and the project filters need some upgrades.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are translating our web pages into multiple languages & launching various sites across the globe, best of all translated & localized sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a translations framework to translate, localize your content, and something that can be integrated end-to-end, may it be with your CMS or Salesforce, XTM is the best. They definitely know how best to cater to their clients
Connectivity and efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
XTM Cloud comes with a thorough implementation process, it connects users to high calibre content management systems and it delivers automation that saves time and cuts costs. It gives clear visibility of translations in real time and in context, makes linguists more productive, and the automation doesn't lower the quality of the translation. It actually improves it because translators get to focus on the tasks that require their skills instead of getting stuck on things that don't challenge them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind because when you identify an enhancement that would benefit you, they take your feedback on board and make the upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we solved was that the TMS saved us a huge amount of linguist and project manager time through the automation of processes that had previously bogged them down. And this automation didn't lower the quality of the translation, so there was no downside. In addition, the partnership of XTM Cloud with good quality content management systems made the content creation and translation process far smoother.
Excellent Implementation Experience
What do you like best about the product?
XTM Cloud allows us to have complete control of our translation projects, TM, and Terminology and to share them with multiple LSP's and customers. Our account rep Justin Bechtel, and implementation specialist, Rory Sampair, were outstanding resources and helped us launch the app quickly and efficiently. They offered advice and assistance above and beyond what we expected, and were always quick to respond to any questins or concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not discovered any dislikes yet, as we just launched our instance a week ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are significantly reducing the number of emails between our LSP and associates, automating workflows for greater efficiency, having clear insight into our Terminology and TM, reducing costs, minimizing delays.
Great TMS and CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
We are really happy with XTM. It’s the best investment we ever made in our department. Before XTM we were using several tools that didn't have all the features that translators need. With XTM we have complete control of our translation memory, which was scattered around different language service providers. XTM helped us to centralize translations and automate workflows. XTM makes our processes faster, better and more cost efficient. We are also very happy with the XTM support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. If there are issues, they get solved very quickly by the support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a centralised TM, giving us higher match rates, reducing translation cost. It is easier to follow the progress of translation projects at LSP's.
Superior TMS System : XTM
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive workflows. XTM Workflows are highly intuitive. Templates can be highly customizable. They have great connectors for end to end automation. Shamus Dermody" is our account point of contact. He is excellent. Always listening to customers and helping us in resolving the challenges. XTM also have a great support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for now. The good thing with XTM is they are always listening to the customers, and they have solutions/workarounds for the customer's problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Localization requirements of day-to-day activities. The main benefits are easy to implement—great connectors for CMS, In-Design etc. 'Shamus Dermody" is our account point of contact. He is excellent. Always listening to customers and helping us in resolving the challenges.
