Able to communicate with overseas people
What do you like best about the product?
At the same time, I can assign a number of people to review the texts & layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Update the functions every month. It's too many to know what happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TM is always updated and overwrited. It seems benefits.
However, when another project got and applied updated TM, the translations got wrong due to the contexts.
So, go to Rep, and then she provided us to use the Tag setting.

Solid platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to create a project with multiple languages to send to multiple linguists. I also really love the translation memory -- it saves us a lot of time and helps maintain accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sluggishness that happens on the public cloud, when it takes a regular or small project, hours to load is an issue that causes slow-ups in out process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM helps us maintain our consistency with it's translation memory, and we are moving forward with increased machine translation, some via Intento, and XTM is helping us with that. They are also investigating areas of improvement since we will likely have an increased amount of throughput with MT projects. The platform really benefits us because we can have everything all in one place and the linguists can access everything easily.
XTM Enables Localization at Scale
What do you like best about the product?
The REST API and out-of-the-box connectors allow us to automate workflows. This combined with the workflow automation and QA checks allow us to localize hundreds of projects every week quickly and to good quality with low touch from our small localization team.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be difficult to find more advanced features and settings in the UI at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We couldn't operate to the level we do without XTM. The automation allows the localization team and the linguists to focus on the things that require human input and we don't need to waste valuable time on mundane, manual tasks.

- XTM Cloud is easy to use system, since it is cloud based and doesn't need any installation

What do you dislike about the product?
- It doesn't have powerful terminology management system
- It doesn't offer real time teaching of terminology during content writing like other tools

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System helps us managing translation projects in much easier way. This saves time, and cost on repetative translation.
I think it's a good product, but the price is too high compared to before.

The word allowance and subscription fees are expensive.

We are translating AEM content using the connector. By using the connector, the manual tasks that were previously required have been reduced.

It does not generate bilingual results.

It processes large files efficiently.

Decent but could be better
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use workbench, works as a completely online platform, steep learning curve but relatively straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
Microsoft translator is no long available but my open ticket has never been answered/takes forever and needs follow up= customer support needs improvement; systran translation results are not very accurate; the onboarding person assigned to our company was not based in the same/similar time zone so it was very hard to coordinate + the person's wifi connection and availability was not good; most of the inline tags required do not export into the right format and is very time consuming

XTM provides a great centralised set-up for localisation activities, they also provide good customer support to help resolve technical issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is quite limited and the LQA feature is not optimal for gaining insights and data. The user interface could have been more user-friendly and more user-centric.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM helps my team manage the localisation activities, quality assurance and language resources. This helps save time in operation.
Translation Project Coordinator/Admin experience
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of features, customization and options. I like that it is possible to configure workflows to suit my organization's translation business model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup time can be long and complex for a new language or project, depending on how complex the customized workflows are.
Projects seem to automatically become archived if there is no activity, and need to enabled again on a regular basis until completion.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM lets my organization manage translations from English into to about 20 languages and growing. I can define access to external users (freelancers, LSPs, volunteer translators) fairly easily. Our volunteer members are able to navigate and learn the tool quickly.
Translator-friendly cloud translation tool
What do you like best about the product?
We mainly like XTM for how easily it lets us cooperate with translators. No investment is needed from translators and they can smoothly work together with a shared translation memory. Translators can also see the context of translations, which is vital for accuracy. Project startup and task assignment are very straightforward. Translation progress can easily be tracked. At the same time, no limits on languages used and a clear subscription model make it financially attractive.
What do you dislike about the product?
XTM's QA features could be improved as it's hard to locate and correct errors. Context display could appear more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM is a good solution for close cooperation between team members, whilst also giving transparency in processes and meeting deadlines.
