XTM as our company's TMS
What do you like best about the product?
That it is vendor agnostic, it provides us the flexibility to work with multiple Language Service Providers without having to opt for their individual licences
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the connectors need to be built as an out-of-box solution when it comes to integrating XTM with external tools. This requires additional cost and effort
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in harmonizing the translation and localisation needs of our company into a single unit instead of having multiple approaches and tools to do the translation
Perhaps XTM is not the right tool for the workflow and processes we hope for with our freelancers.
What do you like best about the product?
The friendly support team in Poland. I appreciate the quick replies and detailed answers. Everyone is knowledgeable, and working with them on ongoing tickets is a pleasure.
What do you dislike about the product?
We continue to wait for developments and fixes on the existing features we are utilizing. Version updates always result in bugs on our instance, and we spend time dealing with reporting from freelancers. So we've started looking for possible solutions outside XTM (in the same way our freelancers may be self-tracking their work).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM is the only TMS we currently use and houses all our TMs and TBs. It handles the high volume of localization tasks while being connected via API to our internal systems, and plays a significant role in continuously updating our product pages on our website.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Can't save projects to start I left off. It quits and I have to redo everything all over again.
2. Not being able to have LSPs download Excel Multilanguage or Excel extended tables.
3. Search function in Workbench, not ideal.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization. It makes my daily job more effecient and effective.
Overall a good tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can manage my projects easily. I can see the workflows and files separately. I have different ways of downloading target files. I can choose the workflow steps to work on. I can assign different steps for the workflow like Correct or Review after translation.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't write the correct name of a project, it won't appear. You have to put one key word specifically to find it. I don't like that. I'd like to copy/paste the name and be able to find my project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize my projects and get the resources I need for each project easily. Some of the problems are the search. Sometimes you have to go to advanced search to find a project. XTM has solved some issues when having an urgent translation project. For example, I used the MT for a project we couldn't translate. Google MT is decent and helps get things done when humans proofread afterward.

Spelling Check can be improved in Arabic

The system sometimes gets down. The user should control terminology highlighting in the workbench.

The data storage and parallel functioning on cloud helps a lot.

The flexibility for things like changing workflows or assigning different LSPs/translators.
What do you dislike about the product?
The TM and the term base are very simplistic and could use some work. For example, I'd like to be able to add strings to a TM without having to import.

Managing multiple projects, maintaining our TM, maintaining our terminology.

Overall a very functional tool that can be tweacked.
What do you like best about the product?
I find the Workbench to be simple enough to navigate for a user who's not necessarily experienced. It's quite convenient to work with XTM cloud as I do not need to rely on a device or a place and I can be flexible while working.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times, when certain functions, such as adding terms to the personal dictionary, doesn't work as it should. The workbench has a bit of a problem in recognizing verbs, specially in imperative. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but it means a lot of false positives during the LQA process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps centralize all the material coming from different teams, which have different formats, and being able to deliver the project directly. The fact we can connect XTM with Figma or other platforms is very useful and streamlines the process.

XTM cloud support has been really helpful. The account manager as well is super helpful and professional

The license cost is a quite high and if we need more license this will be a concern.

XTM cloud has allowed us to automate workflows along with our Translation management system (Plunet) this has been a great addition for our teams
