Powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
I highly recommend Apify for anyone looking for a powerful and user-friendly web scraping and automation platform. The tool is incredibly versatile and can handle a wide range of tasks, from simple data extraction to complex web automation. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to set up and run even the most complex scraping tasks. What do you like best about the product?
I needed to crawl a website. There was already a tool built out for me that allowed me to easily select and input the critia that I need and it will just crawl and give me back the data that I needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing really that I dislike. I needed to crawl a website and instead of building out my own custom tool, I can just start crawling very easily cost-effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned, I need to crawl a website for public data. I can do manual crawls and use lite tools that can help me collect data by me pointing and clicking. I could have built a custom web crawler. Both of these take quite a bit of time, but Apify allowed me to get exactly what I needed with very little effort.

I used it to scrap booking and google map , it was user-friendly and the result was perfect for what I was looking for.

I do not dislike it, but I was looking for something to scrap, but can't find it on apify (google URLs + scrap telephone number) , and I did not find it; maybe there is a way to do it ?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scraping google map and booking, it took me too long to get it done manually, so i can win a lot of time with apify , I still have to try other tools to scrap and it will give me other ideas

What do you like best about the product?
Between the awesome platform, the fantastic scrapers and the epic customer service, Apify is an absolute force. I'm in the process of building my own technology company right now, so one big aspect of that is setting up an array of software systems for the management/administrative side of things. And unfortunately I’ve run into a disappointingly long list of complicated platforms that have poor UX/UI, and I've also run into a wide range of poor/limited customer service.
But my experience with Apify, and specifically Tsveta, has been a wonderful breath of fresh air. She's responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, communicates clearly, and best of all, deploys a suitable amount of empathy. The Actors (scrapers) are also awesome, and I've barely scratched the surface of what this platform contains. I can see myself getting a bit addicted to scraping. It's intensely satisfying, lol. Happy Scraping!!

Sometimes the individual Actors (scrapers) break, and you have to wait for them to get fixed, which causes some delays.
BUT, that's the nature of software, and they're scraping live systems/platforms, which have their own development roadmaps and ever-changing API's. So it's likely a game of continuously monitoring and updating their Actors. This is where Apify's customer service really shines. They're super quick to dig into an issue and get it resolved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm building a community marketplace that needs to scale across Canada fairly fast, and try to connect with thousands of businesses that match my ICP. If I wasn't able to capture these by scraping, I would have had to pay for lists, work with economic development organization across Canada to slowly pull out the data from NAICS (and some of them might have charged as well), or I would have had to sleuth them manually. This would have been a much longer, tedious and gross path to scale. But after just a couple hours of scraping, I have over 10k businesses I can start reaching out to.

What do you like best about the product?
I used to grab data about potential clients searching and saving it manually. With Apify the data is retrieved automatically and I can save it as a csv file or json, among other types of files. I'ts easier to use than the competitors because it doesn't require any kind of installation, you do everything on their website.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have more details to specify the data you want to scrape, to get more precise results and it could also have the option to purchase credits on demand, rather than the annual or monthly billing periods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do cold texting to potential clients, so I grab their contact data by searching the web. I used to do that manually, which took me a lot of time and effort. With Apify I could do that automatically saving me a lot of time, and allowing me to focus on what really matters.
Best scraping tool ever!
What do you like best about the product?
I am very surprised how easy it was to extract data what I needed from maps. Store with actors is very useful - you can try many of pre-made solutions whitout touching a single line of code, that's awesome. I have tested many runs and extracted huge amount of data whotout any mistakes.

Nothing is wrong with that solution, I like everything

What do you like best about the product?
Apify has an extraordinary number of tools, paired with great documentation that make it accessible for even the most junior of developers. It stands above its competition as a solution that can accelerate business initiatives with minimal cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly have no complaints with Apify. The issues we've encountered have been a result of poor programming and hierarchy on our own legacy websites, leading to a lot of hoops to get accurate and complete scrapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company has previously purchased many other domains, but never fully integrated them into our solution. Because of the content variation and expertise, we need to find a way to capture and catalog content to serve through a unified CMS. We're using Apify now to gather and tag this legacy content. Based on our current experience, we're also looking to expand our usage to gathering competitive insights and lead generation once we've completed this project.
