Flexibility, speed, and power, a valuable combination
What do you like best about the product?
As we transitioned our streaming service from Vimeo to an in-house solution, we evaluated numerous headless CMS options for managing our content. After careful consideration, we chose Strapi.
Strapi has been a game-changer for my recent project. Its intuitive admin panel and user-friendly interface make managing content a breeze. The customization options are impressive, and the built-in authentication system is straightforward and secure.
The support for both GraphQL and RESTful APIs is excellent, with auto-generated documentation and endpoints that save time and ensure consistency. Security is robust, with built-in authentication and role-based access control.
Being open-source, Strapi benefits from a vibrant community and regular updates. It's flexible, powerful, and efficient, making it a top choice for any developer looking for a reliable headless CMS. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement is file management through the API, which currently lacks some basic features, such as changing the title. I hope future versions will expand on this functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without a tool like Strapi, content can easily get our of hand, from designing the structure to the workflow and access. Classic Content Management Systems are usually not as flexible and are slow. Headless Content Management Systems are usually not as flexible, and / or use proprietary technology, which make you dependent on them. Strapi brings structure and east content management, and it's open-source.
My default go-to for new projects
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness and flexibility to configure small proof-of-concepts or fullstack applications. Sometimes I just need a headless CMS for my client, sometimes I want the CMS and custom API responses. This is all possible with Strapi. Also connecting to services like RabbitMQ clusters is really easy and quick to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've started using Typescript for a lot of my projects, but Strapi unfortunately doesn't support it currently. Also, I haven't been able to adjust the admin interface _exactly_ as I want it. But this is no showstopper for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly developing backend solutions so I can quickly develop products or solutions. I was working on V2 of my API and also wanted a good CMS. After I learned about Strapi, I sticked with it for both the API and CMS part.
Strapi is very useful for a non-profit organization like us!
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi is the best fit for what our organization wants to do with it. We like the flexibility!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for now, we totally recommend Strapi.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating an educative platform in French and English
Loving the accessible for all interface
What do you like best about the product?
Our team of developers are doing their best to make us feel comfortable using the back end of our game app. They were able to create a wizard for us ! I love that you, although the interface is intuitive, you can get help if needed. Thanks to Strapi you can keep things simple and functional for optimal results. My experience with this ongoing project has been really pleasant and user-friendly for every level of tech savyness ;)
What do you dislike about the product?
Still learning but haven't had any bad experience so far, will update if we do with time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables all the stakeholders (other non-for profits in different cities of BC, Canada) to be responsible for their part of the game and be able to upload and update their own content freely with no cost.
Strapi saved hours of API development time
What do you like best about the product?
Basic API functionality comes out of the box
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve and custom features will need to be built from scratch in-house.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am building an internal web tool for housing custom data sets to serve over an API.
A simple and direct approach for an efficient api dev
What do you like best about the product?
The hability to self host the product and keep the data at bay. Strapi makes it easy to create and use a customized api that meets the needs of the association in terms of managing its websites and applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is still relatively new, some things are still not fully working and working with internationalization is still quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi helps us moving from a slow and monobloc solution to something more agile. We can focus on content management and creation, and less on website maintenance.

What do you dislike about the product?
Everything works pretty good. However, some upgrades are necessary to manage better the data and add more functionalities to the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I hosted the entire backend of one of my personal projects. It's easy to setup and you can immediately view and manage the data.
Build a complex API in 5 minutes
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how easy Strapi is. You can build complex APIs including relation, automatic slug, field assertions and so on. You can also define multiple roles and give different read / write / update / delete conditions for each of these roles. You can also give more complex permissions with just a click like "a user can update a resource only if he created it".
What do you dislike about the product?
Roles management for community edition is quite restrictive. It may not be an issue with other editions but I couldn't try it at this time. Anyway, pricing are quite expensive for small companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the time I write these lines, I've only used Strapi for local development. But it really helped me to develop faster. I used to develop my APIs from scratch.
The best API framework out there!
What do you like best about the product?
Making an API service so easily and without much programming
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there is nothing to say about this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduce the time needed for development
