Instinctive, profoundly adjustable, and loaded with potential!

What do you like best about the product?
Most sites (while perhaps not all) require dynamic substance to be put, altered, checked on, and erased from their site, so I used to construct (reuse) an administrator dashboard for each utilization and deal with the data set picking and association, backend, and so on. With Strapi, I can simply make a new Strapi project, snare it with a data set facilitated by a PAAS administration, and the CMS part is finished! It's an amazingly efficient arrangement and more versatile because an entire organization is upholding it with updates and fixes thanks to their group.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with content "assortment" types feels somewhat not quite the same as past CMS work, but when you get the hang of it, it makes building more extravagant substances extremely quick and solid. The differentiation between "saved" and "distributed" states likewise takes a little getting acclimated to, semantically. Ultimately, we're right now sorting out some ways to make specific info fields feel more recognizable and simpler to parse through. Yet, these vibe-like feasible issues are far offset by the upsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi is taking care of the issue of demonstrating content and giving it to applications in a simple way that saves a ton of time and exertion. What used to take a long time to plan, which is setting up the backend, demonstrating the data set with crude dialects like MySQL, etc., building courses to get to the data set, giving jobs to approval, and so on, is presently finished by Strapi, so you just focus on the main job, not the reflections that accompany each task. The Strapi tool has permitted our groups and tasks to easily and immediately get our information accessible across different applications and undertakings with practically

What do you like best about the product?
The documents are very informative. Easy to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not have cloud support, need to self host everything
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi brings the headless CMS. I love the built-in CRUD system.

Plug and play but highly customisable CMS

  • August 02, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The extent to which it just works out of the box. The most important configuration can be done in GUI form for live previewing the UX for your nontechnical operators.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large extents of customisability are baked into the packages, meaning to edit things like the landing page, while not techically important greatly impacts the UX, requires forking the project, adding to the tech debt for updates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a highly customisable CMS for handling accessibility data of different buildings on a college campus. Other prebuilt systems were configured for blogs, or products, and was not as blank slate as Strapi

Time Saver! and trusted scalable software

  • July 21, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Most websites (if not all) require dynamic content to be put, edited reviewed, and deleted from their website, so I used to build (reuse) an admin dashboard for each use and manage the database choosing and connection, backend, etc...
with Strapi, I can just create a new strapi project, hook it with a database hosted on a PAAS service, and the CMS part is done! it's an amazing time-saving solution and more scalable because a whole company is backing it up with updates and fixes thanks to their team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things to improve are the language available in the admin interface, Arabic for example is available as an option but about only 20% is translated.
RTL Supports languages like Persian and Arabic.
Customization of the title just next to the icon, and also to the colors of the interface (more themes).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every app needs content (Mobile app, website, desktop app, etc..).
Strapi is solving the problem of modeling content and providing it to apps in an ease-wey that saves a lot of time and effort.
What used to take some times weeks to prepare, which is preparing the backend, modeling the database with raw languages like MySQL etc..., building routes to access the database, providing roles for authorization, etc.. is now done by strapi, so you only focus on the task at hand, not the abstractions that come with each project (authorization, sign-in-out, admin dashboard, etc.).

    Education Management

Has potential to get a great CMS

  • July 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We adopted Strapi a couple of years ago back in the beta phase, The biggest like is the ability to create custom content fairly easily
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrade and migrations are very manual and documentation is a little anemic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a customizable CMS to integrate with an online learning experience

I love the way how content is managed and associated.

What do you like best about the product?
Strapi has clear guidelines and is simple to use. It is very intuitive to design solutions, and as a headless CMS, it provides more functionality than any other CMS I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation that pertains to customisation can be made better. An Enhanced Rich content editor, as well as Support for a Greater Degree of Customization in Regards to WebHooks can further improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a web application that I am managing the content of with the help of Strapi. We are relieved to be able to handle all of our content in a one location rather than across several different systems. The amount of time needed to construct solutions has decreased dramatically.

Great Way to Bootstrap a Backend Service

  • July 05, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Strapi is super easy to spin up and customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot automatically upgrade from v3 to v4. Merging upstream changes can sometimes take a while if you make customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use strapi as our backend service. Developers can focus on defining their collections rather than writing CRUD endpoints. It also provides a layer to interact with the database.
