Strapi Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi allows for easy creation of models for content. It also allows for easy creation of roles and users for granular access control which helps to consolidate our content in 1 single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not tested if we are able to customize structure on Strapi. But what we look forward to testing out is the flexibility of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to build a CMS backend for business users to easily change content on our websites without going through the develoeprs.
Great platform, use it for almost all our new projects
What do you like best about the product?
The Strpi platform has allowed our teams and projects to easilty and quickly get our data accessable across multiple applications and projects with little to no trouble.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the plugins don't seem to be well maintained so some hacking or work needed to be done to get them working. However overall, the exprince has been very good and easy to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to make it easy for developer and non-developers to quickly and easily contribute to our websites, blogs, application and apis.
Intuitive, highly-customizable, and full of potential
What do you like best about the product?
We have a lot of very specific content formatting and structural needs. No matter what I've thrown at Strapi so far within the CMS, it seems to adapt well on the fly. Something I like a lot is being able to customize the administrative front-end for our editorial team. This affords them an incredibly user-friendly interface, all while guaranteeing a stunning experience by connecting it all to a custom front-end. The opportunity for us to use this at scale for future content distribution needs is already very promising. It's genuinely quite fun to use once you familiarize yourself with the feature set.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with content "collection" types feels a little different from past CMS work, but once you get the hang of it it makes building richer content very fast and reliable. The distinction between "Saved" and "Published" states also takes a little getting used to, semantically. Lastly, we're currently figuring out how to make certain input fields feel more familiar and easier to parse through. But these feel like solvable problems that are far outweighed by the positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing us to better share control over our content distribution pipeline with our colleagues, and introduce more consistency to our workflow as designers and developers. It's ultimately saving us a great deal of time and energy, and guaranteeing our end users will receive a more consistent and timely experience.
Great time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Clean interface and power content type builder. Supports SQLite which makes it cheap to deploy to cloud
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks support for Microsoft SQL. Nothing else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves a lot of time rather than implementing CRUD interfaces to all content pages of our website.
No major issues so far!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we will be able to easily structure and build our course content and have the option to customize to our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't search between collection types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving us a customizable CMS that can be integrated with the other software solutions we use.
Easy Modern CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup and very simple and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our developers love Strapi and haven't found any issues. Have used it in previous projects and will continue to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping make managing our database and content on our new site easier.
Magnificent Time Saver!
What do you like best about the product?
The Out of the Box experience is amazing. It comes configured to already provide much of the functionality I need, saving my team a lot of development time. Additionally, the plugins available fill in any gaps. My team is also happy to know that the project is open source so that, if needed, we can extend the code to support any use cases not covered by Strapi or its plugins, although we have not had to do that yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
There currently is no v4 docker image available and it seems that an official one won't be available for a while. The Strapi team have posted a guide on how to build one yourself, created by a trusted community member; we've used that successfully. But we'd be happier with an official published image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a configurable API GUI that I would otherwise have to code from scratch. It has saved me tons of time and improved my time to market.
Awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
It is the most advanced open-source Content Management Framework to build powerful API with no effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The account-creating process took me longer than I expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to create a powerful API while it is handling content management.
Takes the hard work out of building a backend
What do you like best about the product?
How quickly I was able to get up and running with secured REST endpoints
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing... so far. I build B2B SaaS products so I may grow to loathe the tax on Strapi's tier that offers SSO, as it's an essential feature to sell to the enterprise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi simplifies the effort to build a robust backend with its GUI tools to build out entities & generated code. Instead of spending weeks building the foundation to an application, I can bootstrap with Strapi and immediatly focus on the actual data entities and workflows.
Not for Profit's and Strapi
What do you like best about the product?
Good balance between pre-developed structure and flexibility for customisation
What do you dislike about the product?
That the plugin community is a little limited at present
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smaller organisations like ourselves need frameworks like Strapi to rapidly develop solutions to meet the growing digital demand from consumers.
