I do not recommend Pocket Law
What do you like best about the product?
They have an ok amount of pre-made contracts in Swedish.
What do you dislike about the product?
Used it for a couple of months. Got a good deal on a yearly subscription and decided to end it after that. I had the dates mixed but asked if I could end the contract. The cancellation was approved, but they changed their mind and kept us going. We kept saying that we did not use the tool and asked if we could change it to monthly payments. Nope, they kept us for a year. Cost us 5000 USD, it's a lot for a small company during the pandemic. The interface/UX isn't great. It's hard to find contracts and sort them.
Their support wasn't supportive at all. Their main goal was to keep me even though they did very well know that I had no use for the tool.

Nothing I can think about. I haven't come across anything so far.

They are very helpful when it comes to answering legal questions connected to different contracts. Helping us customize contracts to suit our needs.
Fantastic tool to draft most legal agreements for a company
What do you like best about the product?
PocketLaw is the most comprehensive tool to draft and complete legal agreements for any company (especially Swedish entities). We've used the service to produce e.g. options agreements, board protocols, employee agreements, NDAs, Data Protection Agreements etc. Truly recommend it and their customer support is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is kind of steep, especially for a company at an early stage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's wonderful to be able to produce your own legal agreements and contracts without having to consult lawyers or law firms.

It's easy to install and make changes instantly.

Prtinting it out could be tricky sometimes for sign off as most of us don't have digital signature.

The user interface has improved over time which increases the ease and speed with which agreements can be drafted.
It's like having an all-star legal department on demand
What do you like best about the product?
As a startup with no legal processes, you have very few options. Either you have to pay unreasonably high fees for day-to-day absolutely necessary legal documents to run a compliant business or compromise and pay less but end up with sub-par legal advice/ processes. With Pocketlaw however, anyone can build best-practice processes that have been vetted by high-quality law firms and that are also continuously updated so that you don't end up with outdated documents or processes when laws and regulations change. Additionally, it is incredibly easy to use and understand regardless if you have any legal background or not.

What do you dislike about the product?
None that I've discovered so far. If I've had any questions or been unsure about content or functionality then the Customer Success team have always been able to solve it quickly.

Having compliant legal processes and up-to-date legal documents. Fulfilling regulatory and legal requirements in the markets we operate. All at a very low cost compared to traditional law firms.
A very fitting solution for an early-stage company

As an early stage company, we are lean and have only one in-house legal resource. Pocketlaw enables us to scale legal support across the organisation.

The risk of selecting the wrong template or not doing it correctly resides with those in the line of business. Pocketlaw can highlight potential risks before recommending legal counsel.

It's very easy to find all the information that you need. Especially the search bar.

Sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for because there's so much info about everthing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly everything about GDPR. It's easy to find info about that and there are quick tests as well to test out your knowledge.
