Easy to create and manage the life cycle of API

Containerized deployment is complex compared to other platform.

Business structure like bank and retail issues has been solved through IBM cloud pak integration

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to update our APIConnect version to 2018. In the end, We had to install more manually because cloud pack have missed dependencies and some configurations as default that didn´t work for our necessities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
use with caution, it sounds easy but is a pandora box-
Components not fully ready for kubernettes distribution.
What do you like best about the product?
Licensing. You can switch between products.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you deploy it to Openshift, some capabilities are redundant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having Openshift, no clear benefits at the moment.

Wait for better integration with Openshift
My experience with IBM cloud pak for integration was really good. I mostly used IBM app connect.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about IBM cloud pak for integration is that you get all the integration tools under one suite be it IBM App connect or API connect or datapower. This really eases life of a developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside would be the licence fee one has to pay for IBM cloud pak can be factor for some IT companies.
One issue that i have personally faced is setting up the environment of IBM cloud pak which can be challenging at times.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using IBM cloud pak integration for one my banking domain clients. This product has made our lives easier by providing multiple integration tools under on roof. From using ESB that is IBM app connect to using api proxy like api connect IBM cloud pak provides an extensive solution for our integration use cases.

Containerised solution for integration.Improves the application speed,maintain enhanced security and availability. it's a hybridintegration solution that provides an automated and multiple styles of integration.

Deployment of integration solution might be complex.Provide better documents regarding cloud pak for integration.Availability of gatewayscript and apic related documents is lesser than compare with other coding languages .

Connect applications and data across multiple clouds with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration and we can run anywhere .

The high degree of development, are mature products and very well tested. Besides being the best in the market

There is some complexity in some products, and this is sometimes not very good

There are some customers want to run their integration on the cloud but they need their business critical processing on premise, that is one problem we can solve easily.

It will make it easy for you to manage your integrations without much efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
We have reduced the development time significantly- approx 50% and major chunk in reduction on operational cost which leads us to invest in other areas to improve. We are heavily using integration products to connect multiple legacy and ERP platform and IBM cloud Pak is one of the best solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. Looking for more ML features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major benefits were achieved in the financial cost involved for various integration/middleware platform and the time involved in development of the software which the significantly reduced. We were looking for simple and user friendly container solution for our Integration landscape and cloud Pak is one of the opt solution.
