Wonderful tool to make Salesforce Developer's life easy

  • April 23, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In my experience, this is the only native tool, which meant for salesforce application. Being as a salesforce developer, you know the pain of version controlling, Flosum can help you extremely with that specially both side synchronization.

Beside that, features for code scanning, code coverage and code reviews where code differences can be seen with XML formatting instead of line by line differences same as diffcheckers or Araxis Merger.

Capable to integrate with JIRA stories. So, tracking can be easy for changed component to related stories .

Overall, Flosum solves the real time problem with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I don't have any. Quite happy with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Version Controlling
- Easy merging with the branches
- Code Review with more ease and detailed one
- Code Scanning
- Integration With JIRA stories

What do you dislike about the product?
Have not faced any issues yet and will update if found any.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using the Github tool for a long time which caused issues, manual and tedious work as it is no native to Salesforce. Switched to Flosum for its unique solution and it could easily be installed from Salesforce appexchange. It is native to Salesforce and the UI is familiar. The implementation is faster than any other release management tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would highly recommend to consider Flosum for release management which makes deployment easier.

Developer's Heaven

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have Experience a couple of deplyoment and tracking tools such as Sourcetree, Bit Bucket etc.

The Problem is at some point they become a hectic or hard to coop, Where as this Flosum Native Version Control have all the abilities in it which we were working on Different Apps.

I would Highly Recommend this Flosum Salesforce-based Application which is a complete lifecycle Management solution for Developer's to make the deployments go as planned and successful as the native salesforce app promotes governance better and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, This is the best tool for Deployment as of now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effortless deployment activity. It saves time that we previously did code commits in IDEs like Eclipse, ANT by manually comparing the xml code, where there are sometimes errors causing overrides. The reversal function is also very good in Flosum.

It is a one-stop solution for validation, approval, deployment and merging the code. You can easily revert it as well.

Flosum makes it simple to perform metadata comparisons, validation, deployments and rollbacks without swtiching to multiple tools at one time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Effortless deployment activity. It saves time that we previously did code commits in IDEs like Eclipse, ANT by manually comparing the xml code, where there are sometimes errors causing overrides. The reversal function is also very good in Flosum.

Highly Recommeded Soultion for Deployment Activity.

Powerful Tool and Simplifies deployment with tracking

  • April 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flosum has complete support for all metadata types. There is no governance with salesforce change-sets. This was a big problem when managing team because any developer could make a modification to the organization if they had permission to do so, and the auditor doesn’t track who made the changes to the organization. But with Flosum we can track every change automatically and tracked to the source.
We can save so much time by not having to do the manual activities. Since Flosum is native to Salesforce, the UI was familiar to our developers and implementation was fast. All around excellent product. I can keep my sandbox separate from developer activities and I can also prevent others from deploying on my QA sandbox.

1) Quick installation process and easy configuration.
2) Flosum based on the version control, merging and Deployments made easy.
3) we can apply the least amount of changes to the next org and the application delivery chain.
4) Specifically developed for salesforce with lightning ready interface.
5) Easy code comparison between versions. rollback option available if any made mistakes occurs.
6) You don’t need multiple environments to check your metadata.
7) Simplifies deployment process & Effective peer review process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now there is nothing which I don't like. Powerful tool.
I didn't receive any difficulty using flosum.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flosum we can track every change automatically and tracked to the source. We can save so much time by not having to do the manual activities.
Supported for all metadata types and takes less time to accomplish.

Flosum is Awesome

  • April 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flosum seamlessly integrates with Github, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, and any other Git-based Version so we can continue our previous work without a glitch.

Moreover, it is easy to use even for beginners. Most Git-based Version Control systems require extensive developer knowledge and a substantial amount of training to utilize. Flosum, on the other hand, is built for admins as well as developers. It harnesses the power of the Salesforce User Interface and utilizes a click-not-code approach so that anyone who can use Salesforce can use Flosum.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing serious. However, UI could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made our work easy. Flosum manages development processes from requirements planning all the way to deployment into production. As a native Salesforce.com application, it promotes governance, compliance, and rapid innovation in the successful delivery of software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good. Go for it. Flosum is completely native to Salesforce. No servers to manage and no processes to monitor.

An integrated version control system for Salesforce

  • April 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot I love about Flosum :

1. It makes the syncing between environments very simplified and easy .

2. The application is user friendly and having lightning ready interface which is great for the stack-holders using salesforce as a CRM

3. Flosum has a simple learning curve compare to other to devops tools.

4. Easy to integrate with bitbucket, azure tools, gitlab , github , Jira and many more which I personally feel is very useful for lot of companies

5. Flosum is bidirectional which helps syncing all the salesforce org at all the levels

6. The easiness with maintaining destructive changes are also quiet helpful

7. Code Coverage check and Org comparison which is not possible in other version control system is also a feature of this tool

8. Merging capabilities of other version control system are not intended to salesforce specific components but Flosum has all these. Great !!
What do you dislike about the product?
I absolutely find nothing bad about this tool. Better customer support and easiness to Dev-Ops functionality made our salesforce life very easy :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What better than solving the release management. The main pain point of salesforce was deployment easiness. Now with Flosum code comparison is so easy which helps deployment faster, efficient, and error free. Now we can deliver project very quickly and more efficiently .

Outstanding Tool with Great Service and Support

  • April 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Flexible docker-based architecture
- Flexible configuration.
- Impressive and Fast UI

it's secure, scalable, and has processes implemented to help devops save a ton of time when it comes to development. We can forego having to manage server or scaling challenges with Flosum. It uses a repository to track the site, and so its workflow is great to work with (code goes up, content goes down). With the three default environments, we're able to safely and confidently launch new releases without fear of something breaking. If it works in test, it will work on the live site. The multidev environments are also nice to have for when multiple people are developing the site working on separate features. The multidevs can then be moved into dev in preparation for production launch. There are a great benefit to have - allowing global delivery with minimal latency and speed.
It has a large collection of searchable documentation. There are always people available to answer questions no matter how small the account or how complex the question. They are always able to point me in the right direction.
It is easy to understand and has a straightforward "dashboard" to allow you to spin up new sites. The dev, test, and live environments come with any hosting plan and you can "sandbox" by trying out the tools prior to getting a paid hosting package.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike.Build Nativity on force.com which allow to update at any time with new features in upcoming release
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main differentiation between Flosum and other competing tools on the market is the Native version control system which was specifically build to compliment the force.com platform.
If you are using GIT based version control, this document will help to compare and contrast the differences.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This very easy to use product.

Amazing And All In One Salesforce Release Management Tool

  • April 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I used Flousm for my firm.

We are providing salesforce support. And we have many clients and developers. So we are finding something that manages our CI/CD process at a time for all developers.

I used many other CI/CD tool but that is not all in one tool. we also purchase another tool to manage our support process.

Now we found "Flosum".Flosum gives us the flexibility to use their tool.
and we are able to achieve our standards salesforce process in one tool called Flosum.

after the use of Flosum, I found Flosum is a faster tool for CI/CD.
I don't need to buy any other tool we can manage all things in Flosum.

And Flosume team gives us 24*7 support for any issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still not found any issue in the Flosum tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, it saved our money.
because early we used 2 or 3 tools to manage our salesforce deployment. and obviously all are paid. Now we are using Flousm only one tool so no need to pay extra for other tools.
Then validating and development time is also less so it increases productivity for developers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended to use of Flosum tool.
