Worrying about Painful Deployment ......Don't Worry....Check Flousum tool.....
What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy to use, Easy to find what is changed in source org so that we can select required component.
2. Greate Combibation of Deployement and Merging.
3. 100 % secured.
4. Easy to adopt.
5. The user can rollback the changes also which is not possible in change set deployment.
6. Flosum is able to decipher the changes saving the developer's time.
7. Build to save time.
Flosum on the other hand, offers complete merging capabilities using different algorithms for all Salesforce component types.
Flosum’s Repository and full Version Control Functionality takes place 100% within the Salesforce Platform so that there is never a potential for security issues.
It can be integrated with JIRA or Service Now.
It was very challenging to manage change sets with another DevOpp tool but Flosum is the best tool so far that overcomes this very lag.
We can envolve Devloper team to review code so that they can verify there code, which will overall reducing the devepoer's effort.

Nothing ...I don't notice any drawbacks. Very very good product.

Now we are enjoying deployment of code in Prod... it looks awesome.

Awesome Tool for Force.com metadata deployment.
What do you like best about the product?
Flosum comes up with lots of features that are an important part of the software development life cycle. It is very easy to install and configured. It provides out of the box functionality which includes version control, merge editor. One can easily differentiate between the old and new versions of the apex code. The software can be integrated with a third-party tool like Jira. The tool is user friendly and can be used by admins and developers both. I would highly recommend this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find any cons so far but one thing that could be updated is thew user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are several apps that can be used for repository management but none of them can't be integrated completely with salesforce. A lot of manual work needs to be done using the applications other done flosum. It is easy to use and time-efficient.

Which is possible with other tools as well but with a complicated process.

For me :
bidirectional real time synchronization between any branch in flosum to any other salesforce org which ensures code overwrites will never happen.

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature which we like about Flossum was its easy installation and its ability to fully configure. The amount of time it has saved for us is incomparable. It's hard to believe that its version control features are built for Salesforce to uniquely handle lightning components and process builder.
The merge functionality of Flossum has saved us a ton of time and unlike other release management tools, the implementation was quick and simple and their support team was easily reachable. Despite all these features, the tool is intuitive and easy to learn.
In short, Flossum is one powerful elegant complete integrated solution with version control, merge editing, deployment capability and static code analysis.

I do not ave any negative comment on it. It's right tool for version contorl.Nothing yet as it's easy to use and have saved quite a lot of our time. We are quite happy with it.

Differentiate from Sandbox and Production.Flossum is one powerful elegant complete integrated solution with version control, merge editing, deployment capability and static code analysis. It has been a life changing experience for us. Give it a try and you will certainly reap the benefit of it. This tool is intuitive and very easy to learn.We are using Flossum as a release management tool. it has save us a ton of time and unlike other release management tools, the implementation was quick and simple and their support team was easily reachable.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a best deployment tool which i recommend to many of my friends which are working in salesforce. Easy to install and configure,provides bi-directional, real-time synchronization between Salesforce Orgs.
It is secure as there are various Permissions to be assigned to each user in order to access this tool.Since this tool is well developed it saves time and efficiency.

Great Release Management Tool for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Flosum is great platform for deploying components from one organisation to another organisation in Salesforce. Implementing Flosum has been a game changer for us because, truly able to realize the continuous delivery and the time savings is absolutely quantifiable.
It has a native version control system specifically suits for Salesforce and it also supports other Version controls system such as GIT, BitBucket etc., moreover
it has option to integrate with Jira, which will be helpful for us to track the deployment status in Jira as well.
This is a user friendly application and specifically build for sales force with lightning ready interface.

It covers almost all the featured required for release management.

Day to day release of compoents to production. As it is integrated with Jira, it is easy for us to track the release readiness and review form Jira.

1. Developers spends lots of time in merge and deployment, this tool makes the work easy and allows developer to concentrate on their functional coding pieces.
2. Two way sync and taking care code overwriting issue is great feature.
3. Native Version Control System reduce the overhead for developer during merge process.
4. Since builtin into Salesforce, it makes life easy and very much secured.
5. In order to prepare for deployment, usually myself and my team spending lots of time in preparing package.xml and then create a build, then deploy to respective environments and deployment failed. Add the missing components, retry again and this goes on for 1-2 days that's pain we're facing. But this tool provide all the details on what's changes since the last snapshot pack that and more to PROD, which is going to save lots of time.
6. Integration with Github is very good feature.

8. Giving impact analysis feature is great one to have, so that developer know exactly what are the impacts of the changes they do.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing for now, it's great tool and saves lots of developer efforts for sure. It's not like much to have, but nice to have maybe user interface on standard Salesforce lighting page can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The development changes we do are manually being tracked in each JIRA ticket and finally during deployment we're preparing package xml using the information available and then creating build using ANT. Now these pains are completely remove and we can create snapshot there on we'll know all the changes happening in the environment that's smart and saves lots of time for each deployment.

I like that is natively built on Salesforce and is so easy to configure and use.
Linking changes to Jira tickets is also a great feature.
Also, the rollback feature is really useful.
And one more thing is that you don't need any CLI experience to get this up and running.

The pricing model can be changed slightly.

This tool makes it so easy to identify changes in metadata and code and resolve any issues before deployments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I like that Folosum makes it easy to see changes in both configuration and code which saves time resolving any issues before the deployment.

Every Developer challenging includes Collaboration while worked on a Shared resource like Salesforce. Flosum helps improving Salesforce efficiency with respect to code changes proactively and efficiently. Comparatively Flosum suits best for Force.com for its integration capabilities.
1.When deployment is failed developer must start it from the scratch, and the amount of time it takes to perform the whole deployment is worthless. Flosum helps to integrate entire data and also allows selecting fields, records and objects which needs to be migrated.

Benefit includes its advantages over other version control systems as 100% component integration. Ease of access to recent changes and simple roll back options. Even minor changes by any developer in the team can be monitored. UI friendly application which improves usability

new version of salesforce didn't access project of old version properly . after using flosum its seems quiet helpful to access.
