Love Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and navigation is very intuitive. It was easy to connect to to our other systems and simple to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
No mobile app. We had to build our approval workflows out in the purchasing module rather than AP module. Our bank couldn't connect to do the bank upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to replace Concur with Intacct. We also used to have to use a seperate system to generate financials, which is now not the case.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is user friendly, straight forward and easy to learn. I can easily find any transaction and report that I'm looking for. It has also been easy enough to connect to some outside systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
You aren't able to open journal entries/transactions in new, separate tabs from the report tab. If I'm reviewing the balance sheet, sometimes I want to open multiple journal entries at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a cloud based ERP system to house our financial data, book journal entries, and create financial reports. We have team members in different locations who can all access the system.
Intacct over Sage all day!!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is online. I like that I can access from my computer anywhere and dont need a remote login.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not seen any down sides. I like it more then the desktop sage.

It allows me to access my reports and do my work without having to log into a remote desktop

it has user friendly interface and its a complete package. If used correctly, you can create reports and presentations within a single platform.

Not enough free tutorials on how to use some functions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has making it quick and easy for us to execute complex tasks and not making us pull reports and do things in multiple programs.
Most User Friendly Accounting Software I've Used
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is extremly user friendly. Even for first time accounting users. It's by far the best system I have used. Customer service is fast whenever there is an issue which is very rare.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that it automatically signs you out after so many active hours. It always falls at 2:00 PM during the work day and you have to sign back in. Small issue though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's extremely user friendly so even when I train someone who has never worked in accounting, they're able to catch on very fast. It also has so many useful reports that we use daily.

that it sometimes crashes. sometimes it takes really long to load

What do you like best about the product?
Multi entity consolidation with foreign currency is handled very well. Top level vs entity level is really nice and helps separate and provide security when it comes to having multiple companys.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike much but there is just a few things like custom reports can be very confusing to settup and use if you are not very familliar with the options and fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem it solves is multi entity with foreign currency consolidation. It is very useful to track exchange rates and convert financials into base currency of top level company.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet is definitely one of the best qualities of Intacct. The Automation capabilties certainly speak for themself. Sage Intacct is best for small business trying to grow and want their accounting system to have their back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are clunky and time consuming to learn. The support team is always great to work with but they need to invest more to ensure that the response time is lowered.
Online training platform is available but there should also be live tutorials and popups on the fuctions we use so that we can learn the system on the go.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct is solving accounting issues for us. However, I feel that we still need to explore the full capabilities of the product which will add a lot of value to our business as a whole.
Innovative
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is very user friendly and I am able to access my data so easily. For instance if I am reviewing my GL and I want to go into more detail I can easily drill down. In addition, I love the Reclassify feature to change descriptions or GL codes if it is incorrect. This has helped keep out GL much cleaner without so many reclass journal entries
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating reports we have to make sure that all fields are entered in our entries our else the report won't pull all the neccessary data. This means paying extra attention!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less manual entries and alot of processes can be put in place. Also since switching over we can eliminate other softwares we use and just stick to one so that everything flows into each other

Help on this page portion. It is user friendly. The different filter allow specific reports to the generated.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many modules to add to get all portions of a specific area to work at its most efficiency.

Invoicing via accounting system and invoicing templates. Faster and more efficient information at your finger tips.
