Efficient and thoroughly informational
What do you like best about the product?
I like how much information I'm able to find regarding my clients and their invoices. It is helpful to have so much detail avaialble!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage has a lot of information and sometimes it can be hard to parse through; better identification of what one column is related to vs. another would be helpful; additionally, a key for errors would be incredible. It's very hard to reach a support rep and I could not find anywhere a key for error messages, to help my clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage's autopay function has been incredibly helpful with keeping customers current; it is very useful and very efficient, when it runs properly.
Amazing and Powerful!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of SAGE Intacct is the fact that you can connect and integrate third-party vendors via API to automate journal entries, transactions, and data from outside sources. This has enabled us to completely stop manual entries and has allowed us to us saved hours to focus on financial decision making.
What do you dislike about the product?
AR and AP aging is limited to certain filters and does not allow for customizing by other dimensions. A work-around is to go through custom reporting but dimensions should be included as an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AP automation function has allowed us to quickly review, approve and make prompt payments to vendors. Prior to AP automation, all payables were entered manually, which was time consuming given the volume.
Makes life easier
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use and ties so many systems into it. It makes being able to handle multiple tasks at once easier while being versatile enough to handle it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of different options among all the different menus and it can get confusing every once in a while where exactly to find something on the fly if you're not accustomed yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it easier to access and handle or AP and accounting issues as well has tracking down things that might be missing or in question without jumping through too many hoops

You can click on partically converted and see what was already entered and by who.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I have to open a tab when converting invoice when I have to do multiple invoices. I wish clicking on it automaticly opened a new tab or we get an option to do this.

Keeping track of invoices and who entered what.
Efficient Reporting and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reporting and how easily you can click into charges/ debits/ credits on the P&L. I also appreciate the audit trail that follows every transaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
The home services module is incredibly slow and often gives us errors. Refreshing the module takes up a lot of time and editing payments is not very easy. Additionally, there are many times where payments post to a deposit but "remain" in the module screen and I am told by support to just "delete" the payments out. The fixed asset module also could use some TLC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GL and financial reporting that combines both our service company and commercial department. This is entirely more effecient than having multiple sets of financial statements.

Job cost detail could be more intuitive.

AR Reconciliations and detail from prior system
Great for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
It is user friendly, for the most part and meets our needs as a small company. It integrates with other systems and support is responsive. It focuses more on capabilities and less about asthetics like a main competitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be archaic and in need of updates. Purchasing module never implemented the way we wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to apply a rev rec schedule is great, however the inability to edit after a certain point has proven to be a pain.
Great system for AP entry
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and train others on in regards to AP entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system will allow you to over receive or edit data if not careful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to have a list of open PO's, enter the AP and create AR invoices based on the data received. The auto AR billing has saved us 100's of hours overall.
An intuitive, modern, cloud-based system, overall positive experience
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has lots of good features. It is largely intuitive and easy to navigate. The reporting functionality is powerful and the workflows such as accounts payable are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more basic functionality seems to be lacking / less efficient or under developments, such as transacting accross multiple currencies within the same entities
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved automation and audit trail around accounts payable which is a big improvement over our old Excel system. Cloud based and therefore more easily accessible and easier to upgrade.
Great platform
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from QuickBooks to Intacct was incredibly easy. Quick to pick up and has many more features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes take slightly longer through Intacct but are generally easier.

Orgnanization and consistant reporting.
