Very Detailed
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct has a lot of great functions, especially if you work for a large company. There are multiple reports to choose from, or create, and it's already organized. If you work for a large business or own multiple companies, this is a great software!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only con about Intacct is that it's definitely more advanced than Quickbooks. Quickbooks is more for small businesses and non accounting/finance people who just want to manage their profit and loss. Intacct caters more to larger businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intacct saves time! With 500-1000+ customers, billing, reporting, and forecasting could take hours. Intacct allows options like batch billing, which can bill multiple customers in minutes.
Well organized and useful
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that it is easy to navigate. When I have to train new employees to use it, it never takes long. Since everything is well labeled, you could figure out where to pull a report from without prior training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have grown to like the prior dislike I had here referring to the AP/AR aging lists. The only dislike I would have now is how often it times out when I'm multitasking on different projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is making our processes more efficient with each update so we can spend less time on the more repetitive tasks. It is one of the easiest programs we use. The ability to run reports has made my internal auditing process extrememly efficient. If you need information there is probably a report you can run for it.
Much better than sage 300 which was our previous system
What do you like best about the product?
Highly customizable, can be used mostly however you like. The import function is really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how once a bill is entered, it cannot be edited to change the date easily and go back for reapproval.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier data entry for bills, and GL entries. It's easy to find the relevant backups and entries.

The graphical user interface is very nice to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I'm looking at pay transaction and bills, the done button makes it harder to pick up where I left off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to information without having to search file cabinets.
Been using it for a while now, so far so good!

Lots of reporting choices, ability to create my own personalised reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat tricky to edit reports and can be a tedious task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's very smooth and efficient. Contains several functions you don't see in QBO for example.
Overall find it to be functional and straightforward.
What do you like best about the product?
I find it to be a clear and user-friendly platform. Learning how to use Sage Intacct is not overly complicated, which is appreciated by those of us who may not be very tech-savvy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find the platform can be slow to respond and takes a while to process. Also, there are some occasions where I would want to have a back button available without losing information on the current page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helpful to have a platform to process payments and reduce email traffic. It is also helpful to have some visibility into managing budgets for my team so I don't have to constantly ask Finance for this data.
SAGE accounting system review
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use once one understands the separation of top level from other levels. Because none of us here really understood this well in the set up, things changed part way thru which in the end made it easier to understand and use efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
SAGE does not handle the requirements of Cumulative line item billings for billing against Federal awards. This is the biggest drawback I see in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fairly easy to use and allows reporting by project with a variety of tasks and many ways to segment data with the Dimensions
One of the best accounting systems
What do you like best about the product?
The item that I love is the reclass feature. If I make a mistake in AP, it can easily be fixed without creating another bill or reversing things. Most ERP systems have problems doing these features without deleting line items
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the only thing I do not like is the vendor list is a bit hard. to maneuver. also when you want to know the full history of your vendors, you cant without changing the filters
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They fixed the 1099 problem. They have added tax bandit, which allows an easy streamline to upload i should be using this feature this year.
My field in finance and Sage definitely work with reporting and reconciling.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to bill and and report at the end of business daily
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now just getting certain task automated and working with 3rd party vendors to do so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing, especially learning from Transform last year is the reporting and how we can create different reports for AR and AP
This accounting system works well with invoice approval software and Procore.
What do you like best about the product?
I find the transaction reporting very useful along with the job cost report with commitment variance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of theinformation fields do not seem to be in line with construction accounting. Updated naming for some fields would be nice.
