Powerful and Always Useful
What do you like best about the product?
I use it for invoice tracking and reconciliation and always works the way I need it to. Never buggy and always consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the UI was a bit more intuitive but it works for what I need it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use it to track open invoices and reconcile monthly billing.
Intacct for NFP
What do you like best about the product?
The dimensions and reporting capabilities serve the NFP space better than any of the other softwares out there
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit expensive for smaller organizations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage allows our clients to get really granular detail that allows for more specific grant reporting and tracking
Frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it catches duplicate bills and that you can see status of bills at a glance from the search screen. I also like that you can view multiple companies at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't fix anything. If you're not 100% accurate with your input, you can't correct check numbers. I don't like that employee expenses are in a completely separate field from bills, even when printing checks. The fact that you can't correct a bill when it's in pending status is ridiculous.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It doesn't really solve anything for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is user friendly as someone who has never used Sage intaact before. I also like that there are resources and classes you can take within Sage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can think of at the moment as I mostly use it for AP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing that I can think of at the moment.
A step in the right direction!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intacct can be accessed anywhere in the world with an internet connection - this is leagues ahead of the more traditonal on premise approach, that of which Sage 200 would give. Also, the financial reporting element of Sage Intacct is unapparelled alongside competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage intacct is hosted by Amazon AWS - This means that you have to rely on an external business if you requried a database restoration for example. This would take much longer in comparison to an on premise installation as SQL is always accessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The key problem that Sage intacct helps to resolve is visability of key financial business information, in simple, easy to view reports. These reoprts can also be scheduled on a required basis, meaning the user doesnt not need to manually run, they will simply recieve a copy of the report from intacct in an email.
I find Sage to be fairly user-friendly and easy to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reporting tools and the ease of generating journals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful are the filters, and the customization can be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage benefits me in all aspects of accounting. Storing, computing and reporting data.
we transitioned form QBO and have a much better experience

being able to run reports by department, creating customized reports, connection with our PEO

would like to have connection to concur, some consolidated reports are more difficult to build

Great Accounting System for Multitude of Organizations
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive system that even a non-accounting professional can use. I found it easy to pick up and build upon. I'd say its one of the best accounting systems I've used in my career.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Sage doesn't have a robust financial analytic software built in. This is easily fixed by using a third-party analysis software. I think a good improvement would be to include analysis part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage manages the entire workflow and accounting function of the finance department. From recordkeeping, AP, AR, trial balance to financial reporting, Sage does it.
Start-up - Do not use Sage!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is an inferior product to NetSuite, Quickbooks, Workday, Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, you name it. The implementation is a very poor process and the preferred partners recommended by Sage are terrible. Creating reports in Sage is not intuitive and is unlike any other accounting system out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service is terrible. The team (Kendall) is nice at the beginning but later on if you want to change anything on your service she turns off the friendly face and becomes an adversary. Sage is a very poor product, what makes it worse is the service, and the implementation process is pure. If we had to pick a system again we probably would have gone with Netsuite, Xero, MS 365.

It was a nightmare implementing this system and their support is horrible.
User friendly with a few glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I love the cloud based format allowing me to work effectively from a remote location.
What do you dislike about the product?
THe prepaid and fixed asset module and the fact formulas don't export with the reports

Strong accounting system that complies with GAAP requirements.
