Time saver Life saver
What do you like best about the product?
I love the dynamic allocations piece of Sage. It's phenomenal that something that used to take me hours now takes minutes!
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to sort my Budget list when I'm running multiple budget vs actual grant/project reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is helping me solve the project/grant budget vs actual reporting, dashboards that present relevant data and statistics, and program reporting.
Best in class for multi-entity financial management & consolidation.
What do you like best about the product?
When dealing with multi-entity enterprises, Sage Intacct is the clear winner when streamlining the financial management processes. It allows you to do your bookkeeping in one place and view and analyze data across all entities (with customized views!).
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Sage Intacct has so many features, it does take a little more time to learn to use, especially when transitioning from more simple solutions. However, they do offer training that helps with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we used Sage Intacct, we would have to manually aggregate the financial data from our different entities but with this program we are able to have separate books while still being able to bundle them up together when it comes to reporting and analysis.
Great product and helpful customer service
What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive and cloud based, making it easy to access from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I did not get my issues resolved as quickly as I had hoped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our accounting and financial reporting is done within Sage. It is easy to navigate and do the actual work.
Great ERP Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Sage is very useful for different members of our team. We transitioned to it last year, and the ease of use and access to information and data is excellent software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not include many customizations and requires additional labor hours to develop, test and deploy. Also, the reports are designed for large corporations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it primarily for Construction financial management, we are also using it for other entities and all the accounting entries related to them. Great benefits from being on the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, user-friendly, intuitive. Reporting, once built, is easy to use.

Reporting structure can sometimes be complicated to build

Flexible, Resilient Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage gives you the ability to create reports that can fully utilize dimensions. Makes for great, very pointed reports. I am using with Non-Profit clients and it does a great job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using integrations with Bill.com and Expensify.com. The integration with Bill.com can be difficult when you need to make corrections. Overall the software is robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track expenditures to particular funding sources is critical and Sage does a great job at that. The ability to use the Employee dimension to track employees to funding is also great.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly compared to other accounting systems I have used while still allowing you to have proper controls in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could control more user permissions around AR and Sales the same way that you can around AP and vendor invoices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to have more controls in place as far as who enters data and who reviews/approves it for posting.
Solid product for professional purposes
What do you like best about the product?
The software has an intuitive UI and the necessary functionality for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tends to have slow performance depending on browser, can sometimes get stuck for long periods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General timekeeping and purchase requests. Having these in the same place is convenient.
User friendly and easy to learn for beginners, yet has many extra features for the highly skilled.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of navigation from one entity to another makes for less time lost during simple search and entry work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to adjust an invoice date once the check has been issued, even if payment has been voided. If the period has not been closed, then the dates should be able to be changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple entities that share numerous vendors and bills. Sage allows us to enter these bills at the top level and split the account between the entities. This is especially helpful on insurance policies.
Sage is a User Friendly Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
Users can easily navigate through Sage to efficiently work and find what they seek. The ability to easily convert the payables and reports into spreadsheets is a plus compared to other accounting programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the 'pay bills' tab, it would be better to select and drag multiple invoices you wanted to pay instead of having to select individual invoices one at a time. Also, it would be more efficient if there was a way to batch void checks instead of individually voiding checks when there is a mass error on a check run.

Sage is helping me to ensure that I can confidently, efficiently, and effortlessly perform my Accounts Payable duties.
