Sage from a lay person's point of view
What do you like best about the product?
It's compact so the website isn't too busy. The menus are nested under the necessary topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as intuitive. Although, the programming probably plays a significant role in that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place.
We migrated over from Quick Books 4 years ago.
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is very user-friendly; it has been easy to onboard when we have a new staff member start.
What do you dislike about the product?
To date, I really do not have any complaints about using the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy and quick access to financial statements, I am able to provide our DIrectors with a snap shot of how their departments are performing.
Great for Multi-Entity Use
What do you like best about the product?
The option to use allocations is incredibly useful in a multi-entity organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if an error is made, it can be challenging to correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-entity organization and bill-back. The option to reconcile inter-entity transactions is so helpful to figure out what the entities owe each other.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and ease of the website to process payments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are hiccups that cause too many discrepencys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is solving the way we process payments and making it easier and faster daily. It makes us more productive.

I like how the interface is well laid out and it's easy to jump between modules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not easy to find unless you know where to look. The password reset process can be frustrating for some users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company implements Sage Intacct for clients. I am one of the people responsible for training new users on the software.
With proper onboarding & guidance Sage has become a helpful tool when submitting expense reports
What do you like best about the product?
Is robust and efficient. My finance & HR & ops teams rave about it. There was a learning curve, but it wasn't the worst software I've ever had to learn for my job. Now that I know how to use it I find it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When submitting expense reports I thought they were submitted successfully but there were still in draft mode and I had to press submit a second time. This was super unclear to me and many of my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is automating finance workflows and data. Bringing us from spreadsheets and emails with many attachments to software that handles things end to end. As a user outside of the finance department it has reduced the time I spend submitting expense reports.

It is easy to use. I can add new users and train them on the system with ease.

Reporting. Reports are not easily duplicated or edited.

Sage is our ERP system. We use it to do all of our accouting.
Easy to implement, Intuitive to utilize

Defined transactions across multi entities organization. Make intercompany reconciliation a breeze

The initial splash page is a bit unusual - not inviting.

Sage Intacct for better accounting
What do you like best about the product?
We switched to Sage Intacct about 3 years ago. It was the best decision our CFO made for us at the time. We are now more automated than ever before. The Sage line is user-friendly!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the Sage budget and planning piece is a separate website. I wish that they were more connected that what they are. Seems very manual that you have to log into one system and do things in it and then transfer to the Intacct system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is making our AP approval process more automated. We used to have to print out invoices and have managers sign for approvals, then scan everything to a centralized location. After implementing Sage Intacct, we did away with all the time wasted with printing and waiting for approvals. Now it's all in one location.
Great product for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
This is a comprehensive and very useful product that we have implemented and now use every day. It is a powerful tool capable of fitting all of our needs as an investment bank.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is often tricky, and the program seems to be very difficult to train new staff on.

Accounting functionality that is out of this world!
