Easy to use and so mistakes are also easy to make
What do you like best about the product?
Modules are easy to use, but it is not always clear how they interact; one must have good understanding of accounting to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the system does not warn of duplicates, even if as an informative message
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None really because the modules that are easier to use compared to our old accounting software are then offset by those modules that take longer or where extra tracking for accuracy is needed.

That everything is in one location, invoice approvals and my P&L

Too many steps to see an invoice that has been processed

Able to see P&L and KPI's to review with my management team. I like having access to both documents in the same place
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Approving invoices is an easy process but looking up an invoice after it is approved is difficult

What do you like best about the product?
Draft mode is nice to keep track of hours as the week goes along. I am on multiple projects at a time so have a billable record (row) for each that I can track individual hours with is very nice. With the draft feature, I can set it and forget it because if I don't do it in the app I will most certainly forget which ours go to which project specifically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the length of the columns for the project and task columns. When the projects or tasks have longer names they get cut off and there is no way to expand the column so that you can view the project or task in its entirety. This presents a huge challenge when projects start with similar beginnings and don't vary until the end of the project name. This is the same issue with the task column.
Adding notes is a bit of a pain. The text window for this is very small. Luckily, most modern browsers make it so that you can drag a multi-line textbox bigger via the browser. If they didn't do this notes per hours box would be really hard to get through.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I personally am not solving any problems with Sage Intacct. I am a salaried employee but for client billing purposes we are required to track our time to a billing code. This allows the business to charge the client for our time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tracking individual hours as a user is pretty straightforward and makes submission easy. If there is a problem with your timesheet and it's rejected making the adjustments and resubmitting is also pretty straightforward.

What do you like best about the product?
I felt it is an excellent platform for invoice management, and the application is user-friendly. I never had any issue entering personal information or project information at any point of time

Several glitches in system, customer service takes quite a while

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly and straightforward UI. Processing a large number of T&E reimbursements is easy with CSV file generation and uploaded in bank function. Invoice payments management is excellent with approval and tracking functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
AP payments need to be manually selected as paid after processing in the bank. There is no CSV file generation option for invoice payments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounts payable, GL, and Time & Expenses processing.
Intacct makes all of our financial processes easier and less time consuming.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the features in the Cash Management module, it makes month-end reconciliation a breeze. The Reports module is also very helpful, you can customize any report to give you the information you are looking for. It took a lot of time and effort off of having to custom build reports outside of our software before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dislikes have more to do with the integrations of other products into Intacct. Sometimes the data that is integrated does not push through to Intacct, but i have found that the support team does an excellent job of working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our month-end and year-end processes have never been easier. The ability to drill down on reports and compare different time periods helps identify waste and helps in the decision making processes on a daily basis.

If you do all of the integration work on the front end when converting to intacct, it makes the transition a breeze.
My Good Experience with IntAcct
What do you like best about the product?
I can fill in timesheets quickly for assigned projects. I can do duplicate and also recall.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be some bot in the help section which can answer basic questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to do project management using this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many compatibilities and options with the tool. It is user friendly and can be made to suit the most basic of reporting models to the most advanced. I am also impressed with the approval process for journal entries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fixed asset module as well as some of the reporting capabilities for accounts receivable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Separation of duties, clean reporting, a faster and more accurate month end close.
