    Hospitality

Intacct has been a pretty easy to use accounting system. The navigation is pretty straight forward.

What do you like best about the product?
The userface is very friendly - so it is easy to move around in the system. There is always a way to fix something that has been entered in error, which was especially helpful in the beginning when we we're trying to figure the ins and outs of the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trainings sometimes do not apply to the current issue we are having because an issue will be so specific. THe trouble shooting is tailored to more basic problems - so sometimes we can't use the documents uploaded and need to reach out to tech support for more individualized help. Sometimes the reports can get confusing - creating them can be a little complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to track everything you are doing which is great for audits. With our previous accounting systems, it didn't provide as much information regarding what was going on (who changed what, when, etc). Now we are able to see a detailed trace of everything that is happening.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of tasks that we can perform, so there is less need to switch between platforms. It is easy to view customers' AR ledger, past invoices and manage their invoicing schedule. It is great that we can update customer records, apply payments, and send out invoices from the same platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes take a while to navigate to the desired tabs. I also get logged out very frequently during the day, which wipes out all of my tabs. I would recommend enabling single sign-on options or a way to incorporate billing into the platform. Another great feature would be the ability to add more than two email addresses per customer. Many of our customers ask for several employees to receive invoices, but we can only add two people at most. Some of the interfaces are not as user-friendly as they could be. It would be nice to see an update to improve the accessibility of the service because many of the options are not currently intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is much easier to manage AR accounts. We are able to standardize our billing process for all of our customers. Being able to view invoices, mail out past due invoices, and update customer invoice memos saves a great deal of time on our end. It is very nice that there are many options for looking up customers. Being able to search by customer names, dollar amounts, customer ID's, invoice numbers makes it easier to find the information you are looking for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Weigh all of your options, but know that Intacct is a great platform if you are looking to consolidate your accounting process.

Best Move Ever

What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about Sage Intacct especailly the ease of everything in 1 place. I really like the streamlined process of being able to import versus having to make manual entries.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think my only con for Intacct is not having the same capabilities for all applications-I'm able to reclassify from AP but not Purchasing and some other minor issues. They don't take away from the awesomeness of the product itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization has solved the problem or issue with our nonprofit partners not being aware of tjeir finances real time. With the numerous financial reports and customizable dashboards, their not knowing current balances have been eliminated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a nonprofit or work with nonprofits, get Sage Intacct. It is a game changer.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage is an excellent accounting service for any business, big or small. Its invoice creation and management tools are easy to navigate. Quick, simple to the point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some fields automatically default to a previous screen when you open them, but no big deal-breakers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Chances of entering duplicates are slim to none—easy portal to work with.

Easy to use interface with detailed information

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of attaching things digitally with Sage Intacct. Having all digital records for accounting is really nice and useful for keeping things organized. I enjoy being able to look back over months digitally vs. having to shuffle through hard copies and filing cabinets of records. I also like that the online interface is very minimal. I want only necessary information provided and don't need flashy graphics so Sage Intacct works for me visually in organizing my information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not fond of the way that other employee attachments populate in my account in a way that I can see them. It seems like a privacy violation that I can see the names of the files that others have uploaded as sometimes you can deduce sensitive information from the file names.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monthly expenses are solved and kept very organized. Solves me and my team members losing receipts frequently as we can just save digital copies and then upload them to Intacct. It is easy to segment expenses and bucket them depending on what reports you are looking for. I enjoy doing monthly expenses so much more now that it is all in an easy digital format.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very functional software with good category breakdowns for keeping track of accounts and segmenting things into distinct categories. The price is fair for what you get. The interface is easy and intuitive for users across the organization so not too much onboarding is needed for new users to the platform. I would recommend Sage Intacct.

What do you like best about the product?
Time entry and availability of objects is great and seems to fulfill most use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web API calls use XML instead of more modern approach, like JSON which makes interfacing more difficult.

Generic Create Update and Delete calls exist, however, certain objects only contain 'Legacy' functions which are much more difficult to work with and require what should be, unnecessary implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization of multi organization data, automation through API calls.

Versatile in customizability and provides solutions for most use cases.

The Perfect ERP for Mid-size businesses

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is one of the cleanest and most user-friendly systems I have ever used and implemented. It is easy to navigate and perfect for small/medium-sized teams with security controls and plenty of features for all accounting roles.
I have personally enjoyed the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Reporting functionalities from Sage Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Intacct functionality is constantly improving. Some maintenance processes can be tedious, but worth it for the overall value, you get from the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Sage Intacct in my accounting role for clients that had very manual processes and was able to utilize Sage Intacct to automate many old processes and improve timing for the monthly close. Benefits I have seen from Intacct range from shorter close process, faster reporting, cleaner processes, and less manual work for the accounting team.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can view the past PO's easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the payment is made in the wrong method (e.g. paid in check instead of electronic payment) since the method apparently is not readily viewable when our finance team (administrator) process the payment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A streamlined process for payment. Being able to see all past payments in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration capabilities with other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is counter intuitive and the reporting structure is clunky. I used many different platforms and reporting seems to be a difficult task for most. Either they are too rigid and don't allow for much customization or the user is left to build even the most basic things from scratch. While Intacct has some great "out of the box" reporting, their custom report feature is complicated. Also, navigating to what you would think are related sections is difficult as well. For example, I can't click into a vendor or an invoice for the GL report. Why not make everything a hyperlink? Going back and forth between all the sub-menus is taxing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company needed a more robust accounting system as we scale.

What do you like best about the product?
It does the accounting, and is popular enough to have some decent connectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Goes down for several hours without warning every Friday at 7:30 Pacific Time. No "save your work" warning. Not on a weekend day, not mid-month when you're not prepping for close, not at 2am. Every Friday, 7:30pm. Reports are limited in their flexibility, with no option to include desired detail. Basic functions like amortizing expenses or adding a PO to a sales invoice are missing unless add-ons or third-party solutions are purchased. Otherwise, these all have to happen in Excel or Acrobat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to work late most Fridays. Getting kicked off mid-JE without warning is helping me pursue a better work-life balance. Now I get to wake up Saturday morning and start from scratch instead. That's literally why I'm leaving this review on a Saturday.
