Great startup!!
What do you like best about the product?
Since this is an EXTREME change from our old Blackbaud Financial Edge software, everything is new and different. Our set team, particularly Stephen, was very exceptional in helping us get what we really needed from our financial software. For me, it's still new with lots to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
When entering a new Vendor in AP, Last name, First name to get them in Alpha order, BUT when it comes to Print Name - it is still Last name, First name and needs to be corrected. That is frustrating and there should be a way to have it swap them around.
I used to have benefit when entering new AP invoices seeing prior invoices at the same time. This made it great for consistency in Memo entries. Also to make sure the coding is consistence. A bit more cumbersome to see previous entries here.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting was a big issue for us. The upper Finance Team is thrilled with what they are able to achieve with Sage reports. I feel I'm still on the up side of the learning curve and slowly finding benefits as I go. Some time saving and some not so much. As noted above this is a vastly different system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They actually deliver what they tell you they will. Very easy to work with the implementation team. Stephen was wonderful - patient and very understanding. He LISTENS to what you say/need and makes it happen

It is very easy to use and understand unlike a P6 or TEP
What do you dislike about the product?
When we go to TimeSheet & Expenses>My Timesheets, the landing page is very clumsy with all previous timesheets.

the Best part of the Sage Intacct is that the browser is able to save login pass. Plus simple web app and easy to use

Non Finance Person use of Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Our finance departments works very well with it and they are really how matters. For someone like me who enters a PO once in a while it is a bit cumbersome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding attachments to POs is sort of odd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, it really solved more issues for our Finance dept.
New Software for my workplace
What do you like best about the product?
I like how diverse the program is. You can do many different things for an organized approach to budgeting and reconciliation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The steps to label something can be tideous

Finance coding - this makes it a lot easier to code purchases to budgets
Great platform , alot of unique features to help me get the best info

The ability to create specific sheets and automatic emailing to update me every month

There is abit of an initial learning curve but this is like any other platform.

Make sure you participate in the webinars and that at least someone on your accounting team be familiar with it. Its really easy once you get it.

What do you like best about the product?
The reports function is helpful for creating the P&L for every advisor in the firm. If you make your journal entries with departments listed out, this makes for easy, uniform reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud feature is great. The issue is that when you make an entry in the system, you have to constantly refresh for the entry to be visible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have just two companies, but within the company there are over 70 different departments that each earn revenue independently from the other. It can become an issue for financial reporting. Sage easily breaks out the entities into a readable format and satisfied our various teams because their commission is structured off revenue.
Non-Profit Accounting With Ease!
What do you like best about the product?
Dimension usage makes accounting and reporting easy and precise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to have someone review reconciliations within the system, but that is currently not a feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the accounting side simple with two difference programs in one system was our challenge, and we have been able to do that quite easily within Intacct by utilizing dimensions. Reporting is simple.
Great Platform, Easily Organized and Easily Used
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Intacct because it allows me to easily organize my time on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the functions (deleting timecards) have to go through HR first.

Better project budget, able to keep track of costs much better.
