Intacct has always been efficient in showing me what I need.
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides are the budget viewing screen where it's very easy to read the data, and to see the subfolders of how much is spent where.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes certain pages take a little long to load. Probably because of the amount of data involved, but it can take a bit sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us solve our budget regularly. There's a big benefit to that.
Excellent Integrated ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with many major platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Felt like their sales team possibly oversold some aspects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary goal for moving to Intacct was twofold - one, for better integration specifically with Salesforce, which we use for our contributions database, and secondly for improved reporting capability. We achieved both. Intacct integrates nicely with all of our platforms (A/P, credit card, Salesforce, etc) and has much improved reporting. We've literally saved our team hours every month through the Intacct dashboard ability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you spend hours every month formatting Excel financial reports or have a GL software that feels archaic, it's worth a look at Intacct. I highly recommend getting a third party implementation consultant - that made implementation much more palatable for a finance team that is already very busy.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intacct is a very easy website to maneuver and enter invoices .
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that if you make a mistakes you could fix it right then. Instead i have to wait for it to be approved then i can go in and edit it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning how to enter price quotes.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to support mid and enterprise industries. It is a full ERP. It has good support for integration with third party application making the company data seamlessly integration with other applications. There is good developer support for the Integrating Apps. It has very good support for both developers and Intacct which I feel make it edge up over other erps in its category. As far as Accounts payable is concerned it has support for all the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization is one area which I feel would need to be improved from the core. It makes itself full ERP on part of ability to extend itself by installing Application in the customers account. However the data of these application is restricted to the ERP only and the third party application cannot get it through Intacct APIs. The subsidiaries is one part which I dislike as managing accounts across would induce a bit difficulty. I feel this software has tested the time and has evolved over from ERP with a different structure and in this terms it has some complication the way it now is as a full ERP today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Address concerns around addressing Accounts Payable areas in the company. We have realized that the Intacct has very good API exposed for the third party app to sync its data across. Sage Intacct’s have very innovative way to manage vendors across subsidiaries at different hierarchy levels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are search for ERP being fit as mid to below-next to enterprise ERP then Intacct would be recommended.
Easy & Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The software is user friendly and pretty easy to navigate!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find creating attachment folders to be a little clunky, but it's not horrible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it just as a recording system for incoming and outcoming invoices. I mainly use the accounts payable features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Maybe adjust the attachment folders feature - No big ideas, just seems a little awkward when creating.

It could be a little less clunky but it gets the job done.

I am working with tracking budgets and attendance through Intact.

Sage Intacct Is A Must Have!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the capability of being able to drill down into totals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside I have experienced is occasionally having trouble downloading reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Sage Intacct we have been able to streamline closing out the months. Being able to import payroll and credit card info makes it faster to reconcile those items.

What do you like best about the product?
You can easily view the report and export it in several different formats for further analysis. Intacct is a mobile compatible device and its pages are well formed when viewed from a mobile device. Approving purchase transactions is very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Welcome to a better integration with identity providers such as Okta. Redesigning the graphical user interface in certain areas (such as purchase transactions) may result in fewer clicks and faster access to the necessary data points. Other export format options for systems such as Google Sheets are also good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is the leading accounting system for our entire organization. As you can imagine, it is primarily used by our accounting department, but the heads of all departments also use it to approve purchase transactions and monthly expense reports. Leaders can also research personal and/or vendor spending to track how their department spends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a cloud-based system, Sage Intacct allows our organization to have more flexible access to important accounting and financial data while maintaining good security. Since the sensitive nature of the data must be properly maintained, it is certainly welcome not to have to maintain a local accounting server as before.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can drill down into every transaction and invoice - the usability is great and it is a simple platform. I probably most benefit from all the different types of reports I can build.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there are so many features and additional packages, it did take me awhile to learn where everything is located and to familiarize myself with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to store all of our documents in the software itself, which helps keep everything organized and easy to search for.
Great multi-dimensional accounting and reporting capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
It's a fairly user friendly accounting software to use and easy to learn. There are lots of trainings available to learn the system better. Sage Intacct also allows you to report on many different dimensions, which is particularly helpful for non-profit entities with restrictions, programs, grants, etc. Sage Intacct syncs well with various other automated systems we use like Bill.com for accounts payable and Expensify for credit card charges. We are also able to have payroll entries post directly to Intacct from our payroll service provider (Proliant).
What do you dislike about the product?
Once credit card charges are reconciled, they cannot be edited resulting in having to post a journal entry for corrections instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct allows our clients online, real-time access to accounting and financial reporting information through dashboards. It also allows for financial reporting and analysis on many different levels. I work with many non-profit organizations, and it allows us to track revenues and expenses by grant, by program, by restriction, etc. We can have a smaller chart of accounts as a result.
