Sage Intacct Review: Highly recommend
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use at all levels. Everyone is able to go into Sage Intacct and use it with very little training. I also enjoy that you can really click into anything and everything to see more information and dig deeper. It also integrates with other software which is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to understand and complete multi-entity transactions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Sage Intacct to help make decisions and improve processes throughout our accounting and finance department. It is very nice that we can create our own reports and dashboards to show to different business groups throughout the company.
Accurate software that saves time but not customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intaact is great at producing and reporting accurate numbers on time and saves time
What do you dislike about the product?
I work for a dental company and sometimes the guidelines of the software are not as customizable to our needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits: saves time
Problems: Minor issues such as not being able to edit check numbers after being printed

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a streamlined software that will save you time you should use this software. It has helped our company reduce close time and increase productivity. Intaact also is great to integrate with other software tools. This allows us to save time. Everyone at the office raves about Intaact because of it's reliability(system is never down) and individual interface customizability. Each person has the ability to design there user interface how they would like. Also the controls from Intaact have saved time because it allows admin's to set restrictions on what can and can't be entered. If these entries would have gone through it would have cost our department many hours. It is also used for AR and AP. We use many softwares to track these but aggregate all info in intaact. Seeing all numbers aggregated on what site is great for reports. The reporting on Intaact is dream. It allows you to easily download reports and financial statements. Thid id great for setting up a companies internal close reports and Table of contents recon. I love the feature where you can import journal entries and Accounts Payable through excel. This saves a ton of time.
Intacct is the most user friendly accounting software out there.
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly, ability to correct mistakes, great help section.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on things such as tax for customers with multiple locations. Intacct only recognizes one address per customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great revenue recognition model that I have not found in other products.

Talk to other current users and get their thoughts on the product.

Sage works very well for general accounting its the best so far. Try it and get its benefits.
One of the best cloud accounting solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Sage has a simple chart of accounts structure and extensibility, very easy to customize reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service could be better to streamline the client's needs and different requests

When we had technical issues, it sometimes takes time to get an answer from related Sage parties
Easy to Use and Learn - Some older menus and modules
What do you like best about the product?
Good learning and certification process. Core accounting modules are easy to setup and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some non-standard modules such as fixed assets require separate installation and is not very intuitive or user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexible and strong financial reporting, cloud platform is a plus.

Our company has different locations across the globe so Intacct helps a lot managing the multi location accounts

Ease of use. Has saved us 15 days on our month-end close.

Does not include a fixed asset module directly through intacct.

Intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, recurring journal entries, allocations
Long story short, Sage is the best ERP I have worked with but .....
What do you like best about the product?
I literally like all aspect of Sage Intacct. The AR, AP and GL Modules are just so easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike very much about Sage Intacct is that the UDF does not flow from AP/AR modules to the GL module which it makes the reporting so much harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating 6 entities is just clicks away. Closing in 5 days.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd totally recommend Sage Intacct over NetSuite, QuickBooks or Xero.

Ease of use, the navigation and the fact that it is cloud based. This is wonderful for today's world.
What do you dislike about the product?
Increase in price every subscription period.

This is a great solution for remote staff and in today's covid world.

Make sure that you work with a partner that you can talk to about your specific needs. They will be able to help you more than you know it.
