AP Usage
What do you like best about the product?
I like that vendor based information in a payable bill can be duplicated. It saves time by allowing you to know which GL and project number has been already used for a vendor in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating reports based on filtering and some of the personalizing settings are pretty difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to pull payment copies and not have to keep track of check stubs when making payments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely get a lot of training to be able to personalize it as much as possible.
Flexible Setup
What do you like best about the product?
The main selling feature of Sage Intacct for our company was the flexibility offered by Intacct's dimensions, both in financial tracking and financial reporting. I have also been extremely impressed by the "out-of-the-box" Help Center. The help pages are very detailed, and the "Help on this page" button is surprisingly intuitive - 90% of the time I click on it I find the answer I'm looking for on the very first page. Intacct also integrates with a lot of other service providers
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the main selling point of Intacct is how flexible the software is, the downsides are the few instances where the software is less than flexible. At times we have run into issues where features such as Global Consolidations and the credit card transactions integration did not work as expected and could not be customized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct plays a key role in helping us automate a significant portion of our back office work as the central hub that integrates with all of our other accounting software providers. That has allowed us to streamline our accounting processes and saved us a significant amount of time and money.
Best in Class Accounting Software for Mid-Size Businesses Looking to Upgrade
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like best about Sage Intacct is the robust reporting capabilities and the ability to "slice and dice" data. The look and feel of Sage is generally easy to follow. Sage allows users to integrate the best in class products along with their product. Some of the products we have integrated with Sage are Expensify and Bill.com. My experience with Sage Intacct has been a positive one and I am very pleased that we have implemented their product at our business. They are truly one of the best in class accounting products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Sage Intacct bank reconciliation and fixed asset modules could be easier to use. It would be great if the bank reconciliation served a dual purpose-bank reconciliation and general ledger entry as some other accounting software. It's a bit time consuming to enter the same banking data multiple times. The fixed asset module seems a bit clunky. It can sometimes be difficult to make updates to data (in an open period). This requires additional journal entry preparation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that Sage has helped us to solve are related to our accounting functionality as well as reporting and budgeting. We have enjoyed the ability to customize our Chart of Accounts. We have also enjoyed the benefit of customizing our reporting. With customized reporting we can provide data that meets the requestor's needs easily. This has provided us with some time savings.

Very intuitive, easy to navigate. Help sections are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports defiantly needs improvement, as well as budgeting module.

We are using it for AP and AR. It's helping to PR creations.

Great Accounting Software!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy the order entry module is to use and the degree of granularity on sales invoices - you can find payment date and other fields fast which helps to answer customer questions on invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you can not input a service month on recurring invoices. Many customers rely on this information to know what month to put the expense in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of poor visibility into Accounting data. We have increased efficiencies related to the time it takes to manage payments made in foreign currencies since Sage Intacct automatically calculates the gain/loss on foreign currency.

This is a great software for subscription billing companies!
Decent online financial platform
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is fairly responsive. I like being able to add my favorite pages to the quick access tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the navigation is not intuitive and takes longer than it should to get where I need to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for financial management, time keeping for staff, personnel notification changes, etc.
Simplistic yet gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface and very user friendly. Was up and running in no time. Provides real time reporting. It is great to see the company has new releases coming out to always stay ahead. Looking for ways to be more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be good to have a chat function to assist with any questions. The search box is helpful, but would be good to have a customer service representative at the tip of your finger when questions arise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to run timesheets and see where the most time is spent between departments and business units has been very helpful. I like to see the separation to see where the most time has been spent. This program has streamlined the timecard process and provides a great snapshot of the daily and weekly tasks.

Great All Purpose Software
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sage Intaact is the duplicate feature for invoices. It makes things a lot easier when you're putting in an invoice that is similar. Instead of digging around and looking for the right account to journal it to, you can pull up the previous entry and update the numbers. I also like the easy excel export. It comes in handy a lot. We use excel a lot for things such as month end reconciliation and checking different invoices when they're needed to be paid. Being able to just export it right from Sage Intaact is helpful in making that process easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Sage is when you're searching for a vendor you have, it has to be identical to the vendor name or you won't find it. Often times I've found myself struggling to find a vendor because maybe it requires a space between two words or it uses "&" instead of "and".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wouldn't say there are problems that are being solved by using Sage. What I will say is that Sage makes it easier to invoice payables, record receivables and pay expenses all in one place. Connecting it to your bank and having controls in place to help combat any fraud is really good. It helps make audits a little bit easier.

Implement it with other systems that you use. It helps to make the process seamless and easier. Less reliance on humans and more reliance on technology to help you check for any potential imbalances.

I like the features of the top-level where you can control Jornal entries for all entities in one place if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
That there is no way to automatically download Credit card transactions from there sites. Like Amex or visa

What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly the whole system is. Everything is right where you would want or need it to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of that I don't like is regarding the hierarchy of the parent / job relationship. When you load the Jobs screen, it automatically sets up in the hierarchy. If you want to turn off the hierarchy, you have to go to the All menu, uncheck the box, then go back to the view you want. Each click, it takes a little while to reload. So with all the clicks, it takes a significant amount of time to turn off the hierarchy view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've tried several different softwares for Accounting, and none would do what we needed it to do. Sage Intacct seems to cover everything we need.

It's very user-friendly. The reporting tools are phenomenal. It's by far one of the best accounting systems I have used.
