user friendly - several search and drill down options

the check selection process is time consuming and outdated

With the export feature it's easier to pin point discrepencies internally.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the software is simultaneously simple yet robust. If you want to use more complex features and reporting, they are available. Yet, the UI is still very intuitive and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I am the AP point person, my main issue has to do with the reporting on when certain bills were paid. It's hard to get an accurate Excel report on when an invoice was paid because if a credit is applied at a later date, it seems like the invoice was paid the date the credit was applied. Once I figured out how to use the remittance pdfs, that helped a little bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was part of a company-wide transition in ownership and financial systems. We faced many challenges in the beginning, but they have smoothed out, especially with the help of consultants and solution-oriented staff members.
Vendor maintenance has been a big part of my work. I like that Sage has a detailed audit trail and a comment section that allows you to make notes for different vendors. Sometimes searching for vendors (especially if they have a DBA name) can be an issue, but I recently learned about search shortcuts like entering % xyz% to more quickly find a vendor. Integration between Coupa (our procurement system) and Sage is an ongoing project as well. Overall, I like that Sage is very "solid" in its structure so that data isn't as easily modified. It helps to maintain transparency and reduce the number of hands in the pot.

What do you like best about the product?
The capability to create customizations specific to client needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI restrictions that business users run into, that require API or backend modification
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving many clients needs to have a cloud based solution for ERP where employees can access wherever they are, whether they are at the office or working from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This products UI is easy to use and manage, and the report capabilities are endless!
Excellent, Convenient, Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is very user friendly and doesn't take much training. It is very easy to maneuver through the modules and intuitive. Writing reports is very easy and effective. It's cloud based so you can access anywhere you have internet. Working remotely is easy and convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Make sure you set up rules and profiles or users can edit/delete data easily
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual data entry can be a thing of the past. Reporting is so easy too. Offers multi-entity accounting, easy consolidation. Automatic intercompany entries.

Based on the Sales Force platform you can integrate and automate so many tasks. Sage Intacct is so easy to use.
Great Software with easy to use functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the main accounting functionalities but that it can still run the complex reports I need for analysis

recently it has been logging me out frequently even when I am actively using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting and sync capabilities have streamlined out work process.
Great for small businesses or nonprofits
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the system is user friendly. It's easy to navigate without much training. I like the usage functionality within the contracts module. It saves me quite a bit of time. Intacct is great for small businesses or nonprofits who use only one currency and remain with the states. The functionality seems to handle really well for a one currency, one entity company. It's easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the length of time it takes to fix errors within the system. It can take months to fix revenue issues that impact closing and requires us to open books back months which creates a major risk factor. I do not like the fact that Intacct has issues regarding multi-currency, multi-entity companies. There are many issues regarding allocating funds across multi-currency, especially when trying to allocate bills.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to get Intacct to solve the issue regarding Multiple Element Arrangements and how the revenue is moved between the six buckets. Currently the system does not move the amounts as they should be. It only moves revenue from the lines that have an amount to bill. Once those are exhausted then it starts moving revenue from the lines without and amount to bill which is not correct. Having to determine what the true amount of deferred revenue is is very time consuming and frustrating.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface. Different module setup and it's very easy to use and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
The financial reporting writer module is not really intuitive and need more formula writing functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The financial reporting issue for multi-entity companies. I realize Intacct is very intuitive and highly customizable for users to build their own reports.

Need to have a fundational understanding of Intacct.
Review Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
We can print signed checks , it enables us to work from anywhere. Its user friendly, after working on ERP software like SAP and Oracle, i find Sage Intacct easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Credit card is the function which needs to be updated in same lines with Bank, we can use bank to create inter co. payments and transactions automatically but the function doesn't work on credit card i.e, i can not use Credit card to make payment of different entity. Once we create charge offs in credit card, we cannot reconcile the credit card. We also cannot use JE to book any AP , even if we select vendor in JE, it doesn't impact any AP balances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can see reports at the top level, it enables us to see the financials as a group. Approval function also benefits us to get the internal control over the transactions.

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting dashboard, consolidated financials, internal controls, partner relationships
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Intacct license was purchased through a third party, I am unable to contact Intacct representatives directly with questions. I am also not permitted to take classes to expand my knowledge base.

Using Intacct partners, I was able to automate a lot of manual processes.
Buggy and unintuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create views on different pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations are unreliable. We've had lots of problems with AmEx vendor payment service. Contracts module has bugs at least every other week, and is very unintuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary reason for upgrade was to automate revenue recognition for a SaaS company. This part seems to work well once you work through bugs to enter the contract in the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a complete demo to understand exactly what you're going to have to do for a variety of situations. When asking questions about capabilities of the system, don't just stop at a "Yes" answer. See how you have to make it happen. While you can make the system do certain more complex things (one example - billing to different entities within one contract), it's often done through a workaround, which isn't scalable.
