What do you like best about the product?
I like the usage functionality in the Contracts Module. I like that I can upload my usage in as little as 30 seconds for multiple clients without having to enter each one manually. I also like the reporting functionality. It allows for a lot of flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am severely disappointed in the revenue aspect of the Contracts Module. Every month I have issues where I cannot post revenue and have to log a ticket. Intacct has said multiple times it is not a user error, but an issue within Intacct itself. It can take months for the issues to be resolved and when they are resolved, we are forced to open our books back months in order to have them apply the fix which is always extremely risky. It doesn't matter how urgent we list the ticket, it can still take months. It is very frustrating that the same issue happens over and over again and yet there isn't a solid fix for it. Additionally, it is frustrating that Intacct is aware the individual revenue buckets are incorrect but currently there is not a fix in the pipeline for this. It can take days to put together a deferred revenue total that is correct. It also sucks we aren't able to cancel a contract with MEA as we have many contacts who alter or cancel their contract and we need the functionality to be able to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system works well if you are a small nonprofit or privately run company with only one type of currency. However, if you are a large company with complex revenue and or multicurrency, then the system doesn't work very well. The reporting is nice and allows for a lot of flexibility. But other areas are difficult to work in."
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a small business or nonprofit, I would highly recommend this product. If you are a large, multi-entity, multi-currency company with complex revenue, I would not recommend.

A huge Spring for peoples company

What do you like best about the product?
We have everyday tasks with numerous levels of approval. We seem to be easy to detect and translate to a fully driverless, electromagnetic rendering engine as the fiscal agent besides numerous different revenue sources, government departments, and clients. This has reduced transfer time only by least 65%. Analysis and evaluation across non-natural accounts and different measures was for us a show stopper. With the flexible functionality, we are constantly searching for different directions to develop and achieve efficiencies. As that of the CFO, Mi have fast answers so I'll get those with my plasma boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The coverage leaves plenty to be asked. It is difficult to create roll-ups and mergers and acquisitions and the vast quantity of account factions, library etc. is very time-intensive. Changes have to be made with great care or even other articles end up corrupted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has provided us the opportunity to provide a lean accounting team, operate from everywhere, and realize that you will utilize the approach in so many different forms. They are partnering with so many varying management solutions that you'll have it all plug-in directly to Intacct so it significantly reduces the amount of human labor needed to complete daily work.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intact helps one to use a standard general ledger for various organizations, and a button for new company configurations. Intercompany transfers should be performed without thinking about making the transfers back-end. It takes minutes to adjust, while it only required few days. Automated approval process renders payable account names even more productive and therefore less time-intensive. Multiclass will save on contributions to the article. The accessories make us to be largely cloud - based-no more invoice / reconciliation pulling, etc. Rehearsed payments save time for month-end entries, and create checklists. Uploading documents and reflective journals makes a photo for large entries / invoices!
What do you dislike about the product?
Any problems I've would have with the firmware are apparently due to a plug-in from a third party. Intact is still prompt to support, even though their app may not have a particular problem. I have nothing I hate for Intact Sage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intact helps one to conveniently hold the multi-dimensional book across growing bodies. It has provided us an starting point for merging unified billing and consumer service into our market administration and project management process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct is a really excellent agency for accounting information and also the accounting. I like the system being easy for using online, and keeping it updated regularly.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use was a huge benefit of the software, the ability to have a seamless end user adoption of an entirely new system was crucial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought that the fact there was no mobile app was a bit of an inconvenience at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think simply the fact that we have better visibility company wide of the status of our company is massive. Real-time decisions are made quickly and accurately due to this.

What do you like best about the product?
Platform is customizable and allows for integration with many third party systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kind of a clunky feel. Running reports opens new tabs and take multiple steps to drill into data. Compared to Netsuite, Sage takes longer to extract the data you need.

Overall Intacct meets our accounting and reporting needs, is fully integrated and very user friendly.

It's easy to customize this suite, looks decent, easy to train on.

The new UI is not as good as the old one.

We are able to integrate credit card payments easily through external modules which is a great help

Make sure you have an internal person learn the ins and outs of the program, ask lots of questions from your Intacct trainer.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is incredibly easy to use and the user interface is intuitive! Intacct makes it easy to integrate with other platforms and offers robust third-party implementation partners as well.

Intacct does a great job of enhancing the product; so that as your company scales, you can scale your ERP system as well. There are 4 releases each year and offer thorough release notes and videos making it easy to understand system changes.

You can configure your system to meet your business needs. You're not stuck with a system that you can't customize!
What do you dislike about the product?
The Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules are due for a huge upgrade. There are very minimal things you can do, making it a bare product. Since these two systems are core modules, I'd love if Intacct can mimic some of their third-party partners' functionalities. The two modules work but it offers the bare minimum.

Sometimes it's hard to get a Customer Support representative to answer your question in a timely manner. Some agents are not educated on the platform and it takes an even longer time for them to understand the problem and get you a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has allowed our Finance team to go completely in the cloud! It has allowed us to fully streamline our processes and was able to go to 100% paperless.

Sage Intacct enabled us to keep the Finance team headcount to a minimum as the organization continues to grow. We're able to keep headcount low, ensuring that donors' dollars are supporting the mission.

We were able to integrate with our back-end so that we can pay our vendors timely and smoothly. We also were able to cut our monthly close timeline in half and can close as quick as 3 business days.

Sage Intacct Cloud Accounting

What do you like best about the product?
Capabilities which have allowed the finance and accounting department to go all online and reduce need for paper backup. We are able to give our audit team a login to conduct their pre-field assessment which has allowed us to keep our audit costs down.
What do you dislike about the product?
While dimensional reporting is a fantastic ability, sometimes building reports specific to certain divisions can be cumbersome, or can include some "excess" data that managers don't need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just like what we love most about the platform, allowing us to go all online, during this Covid-19 stay at home order as a team we have not lost any capabilities to perform our functions just as effortlessly as when we are all in the headquarters together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a robust accounting software, where all processes and backup can be automated with workflows and business users, then Sage delivers those needs flawlessly. I do believe you need a dedicated individual to go through their reporting trainings to get the most out of the dimensional reporting structure. Getting data into Sage is easy, getting the data out into usable reports can be challenging. Their knowledge base is an amazing resource for accounting teams as well.

Highly successful upgrade

What do you like best about the product?
The interfaces and workflows are intuitive and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to create users with permissions based upon filters (e.g. Locations, G/L codes, etc.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved 100% of the financial statements and trial balance into the software. We are creating the statement of functional expenses directly in the system after restructuring the chart of accounts with the implementation.
