Sage intacct has helped our accounting procedures
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to work with multiple companies without having to log in and out. I also like being bale to keep track of who makes changes to bills/invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not being able to change bills after payments have been made if the payment is voided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time for closing out the month has drastically decreased.

What do you like best about the product?
The look of the user interface and sync integration with SFDC chatter
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some missing standard purchasing features. For example, Intacct does not close a PO accurately. The close feature changes to fully converted instead of closed. if fully converted, this looks like all the funds were utilized. It should just close as partially converted and show funds remaining and be able to reopen for those remaining funds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to revise the purchasing approval workflow. The benefit I realized is that you can have multiple approval workflows.
Sage Intacct is the Tesla of accounting softwares.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to attach supporting documentation to every transaction. At audit time I don't spend any time looking for paper.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is frustrating that most actions are executed by hovering over a pop-up menu. This makes it especially challenging to create step-by-step instructions for training. I hate that pop-up dialogue boxes open too small and must be navigated using the slider bars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to have multiple dimensions and track by account, grant, project, fund, restriction is essential for my organization which has dozens of different funding sources and projects.

Super easy to navigate, flexible for reporting with multi-dimensions

Intercompany transactions should be automatic and not need manual JEs for the I/C

Love intacct but I'm not using its full power

Reports take about 1/10 of the time they did in FRX.

Fixed assets are causing me grief and I'm not getting answers from the team, only a work around, which would be fine except that someone else at intacct said to never do that!
Also, I am having trouble making the GL look like I want - I made a change and cannot make it look like it used to look.

Easy to use, great for a business that isn't too complicated

The ease of use on the GL detail, reporting, and other products
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some workarounds in the system that are very manual, when a business is too complex it makes it very hard to keep up with all the workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Entering in contracts, accounting, Reporting. Other than the workarounds it is a great product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As mentioned earlier Sage Intacct is great when a business doesn't have MEA, and multicurrency. When a company starts having all of these then they will have struggles

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the tool can be customized to meet your business needs
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the new "log a case" support process. Sometimes you want a really quick fix on the fly and it delays your process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently the dunning notices have helped with our aging. The system sends out these notices automatically and client responses are faster -thus payments are faster
Excited to Use our New Software
What do you like best about the product?
We signed our contract about three weeks ago and are just getting started with the system. You guys put on a great conference that demonstrates your product and we are looking forward to using Sage Intacct to consolidate international financial statements.
What do you dislike about the product?
That there is not automatic integration with our bank in India. HDFC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Haven't realized any benefits yet because we haven't started implementation yet. Looking forward to using the international feature to consolidate books and having an automated workflow for AP and AR.
