This software will meet your needs
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to analyze in so many ways. The flexibility of dimensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can't reclassify certain entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fund accounting. We have many revenue streams and are able to track the revenue and expenses for these streams easily through dimensions, our funders really appreciate our level of detail. We are able to import from our database to simply large volumes of transactions that used to all be manual. The time savings is incredible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
talk to someone who has been using it, would set a bit differently if had to do over.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to streamline our vendors. We have been able to create report in a variety of formats which allow us to analyze the data in a number of different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dont really utilize support. haven't found it useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining of our vendors being able to pay vendors more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
The layout and organization of the software is easy to use. They release new updates quarterly which improve features of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom reports take a long time to build because it takes a while to get all the Account Groups set up. It sounds like they have made improvements to this feature but I haven't tried it out yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to streamline and sync the accounting records and processes of several sister organizations to since we began to use Sage Intacct. This has enabled comparison of financial records, effective communication within the accounting software and consistency among several organizations.
Overall happy with product
What do you like best about the product?
That it is fully cloud-based, and we don't have to maintain servers, backup, and that it's a big improvement over our last platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks the Banking features (loan/deposit) needed for the Church, and configuration options are complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moved off of paper-based check request processing, ability to approve invoices from mobile devices. Better access to information. Flexibility and capability to create reports and dashboards that meet the users' needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your integrator is an ERP integrator and not just an accounting firm that thinks it knows how to implement technology solutions.
Great software for our accounting needs
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly software that has everything you need for accounting cycle. We use the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Reporting. Implementation was quick and easy and all done remotely. No training classes or offsite training necessary. We have been operating smoothly with this product for three years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be better. The reports are easy to setup but the need to be reformatted in Excel to look for professional. Also, we had a custom field added and need to maintain when new sites are added that require us to hire a programmer. Another dislike is we have been on Intacct for 3 years and have had 4 different account managers that are not familiar with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal controls are a breeze with the approval setup for Purchasing and Accounts Payable.

Excellent choice for mid-size business. I made the right decision going with Sage Intacct!
It’s not the easiest.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you are able to see things and look at accounts at once. It is easy to grasp.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way you have to fix an invoice or the posting date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This does most of our A/P accounting. It’s easy to use and self explanatory

The software isn’t very customizable
Not as all-inclusive as they promote. VERY nickle & dime...
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting is pretty cool, although it's ridiculous that the new reporting module now will cost money.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every single thing that I was told was included when I purchased this software is actually carte blance, I wouldn't have gone with Intacct had I known that fulfilling my requirements would cost $$ each step of the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you get a very bare-bones quote before you decide to go down this route, although not sure that would help since our quote has since doubled (almost tripled) from adding basic, accounting necessities that should be canned in a system like this. They bleed you dry.
Great Product for the Money
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is very user friendly and the UI is very easy to use. Intacct has high customization, and the product receives frequent quality of life updates. The core services are relatively inexpensive compared to many other competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of helpful and useful modules for Intacct, however they can become quite costly for a non-profit who is always looking for places to save money. Also, the new interactive report writer is amazing, but the additional cost to utilize it is not something that our Organization can handle right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to provide our auditors with user access to Intacct so they can run their own reports and view all the scanned supporting documentation has saved lots of filing time for my accounting staff. We were also able to eliminate paper Purchase Requisitions by moving everything online through the Purchasing module.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to sit down and determine exactly what you want your accounting software to do for you. Chances are Intacct already has the capability to do it, but you just need to know exactly what you want to do prior to implementation to make sure you get the most of of your product from the start.

Intacct is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Reports can be customized to fit our need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support sometimes cost extra $ when I feel it should be included in the subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to cut our month end processes in half!
