Great time and manhour saver
What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to streamline our processes to the point that we could eliminate a full position from our accounting team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It's been a very positive experience in every area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to provide real-time information for all of our decision makers. Saving money on manhours.
A cloud-based solution for the virtual office...
What do you like best about the product?
Our organization operates from home-based employees. Sage Intacct is the perfect solution for us! It allows us to operate in a virtual environment with all the protections and checks and balances that come with being in one physical location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike is a strong word. I would value more flexibility in budgeting modules. There are some quirks working in the Mac environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transaction approval responsibilities are assigned to individuals located all over the United States. Those individuals change from year to year. Intacct provides the perfect platform to view and approve transactions from any location, at any time, by individuals who we can assign as needed.

Customizable and scalable, secure access from anywhere

credit card import process and inability to reclassify charge card transactions after reconciliation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
cloud based is awesome. Customizable reports have allowed us great insight and audit trail is awesome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
take time to choose your implementation consultant and make it work for you. It can do anything you need it to do.

Intacct has a few system inabilities but they are always working on improvement

Efficiency and transparency! Dashboards are great and we send them across all departments.

The reports are excellent in Intacct.

The Vendor set up is very limiting. I would like to be able to take a vendor that was set up at one location and expand it to the top level. Would also like to be able to combine several vendors if users create a duplicate.

Very easy to compare the different locations and their spending.
A Complete Cloud Accounting System
What do you like best about the product?
We've not found a single accounting task that couldn't be accomplished using Sage Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We make extensive use of custom dimensions to slice and dice our income and expenses. This has saved us a huge amount of time producing custom spreadsheets.

If it's in your price range, be sure to consider it.

It is a powerful, clean, accounting system that is definitely worth your consideration.
Easy to use and customize
What do you like best about the product?
We recently made the switch to Sage Intacct from Microsoft Dynamics and it was like finally joining the 21st century. Intacct is extremely easy to use and customize. New staff picks it up quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that I dislike about Intacct is that while they tout all these cool features, a lot of them are individually priced modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-level program reporting. We've automated financial reporting and taken out having to dump data into Excel.
The trade off with intacct
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform is well laid out and easy to navigate. Everything can be easily found within the drop down menus and a plethora of search options and reporting features.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only knock on the software is it’s inabimity to seamlessly integrate with our CRM, SalesForce. At times sales orders and invoices don’t properly transfer over.
Also, at times the system errors out and you just go back in and redo things... sometimes the systems properly carried out your request and other times it does not.

The ability to have clean and concise invoicing and clean reporting.

Make sure that if you’re pairing with other software that you check for any known issues.
