SAGE
What do you like best about the product?
This is a very good system that is generally easy use
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that some applications you have to jump around instead of being in a simple order to follow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know that we are solving any problems by using Sage, but the ease of use is a big benefit
Very User Friendly Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the fact that the software had 'live' help in the sense that it provided user classes as well as very good customer support when you ran into an issue (where they actually tell you how to resolve the problem as opposed to just doing it for you).
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I never ran into anything too terribly bad with my use of it - as I mentioned earlier, any mistakes that I made (even larger scale ones) had been easily resolved with explanation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used this software for all AP invoice uploads and the cutting of checks - it was my first exposure to actually doing a check run and, from what I had experienced, made the process fairly painless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They offer "live" online tutorials as well as have outstanding customer service, so any question (small or large) I would highly recommend reaching out to them with for further assistance.
Flawless integration of AP with our bank
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to process AP in Intacct, especially for ACHs
What do you dislike about the product?
AI capabilities for invoice recognition is not there yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We process payments to our customers using Sage Intacct's AP on a daily basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works great with most banks. We have it integrated with Wells Fargo and Key Bank flawlessly to automate procession of our accounts payable.
The Sage Intacct conference was full of information and very enlightening.
What do you like best about the product?
The entire conference was organized and the entire staff and speakers were well prepared. I found each of the classes and sessions that I attended to be insightful. It was so exciting to see all of the capabilities that we have as an organization. We can really take our processes to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few sessions that I attended that I found to not be what I was expecting. It might be due to the fact that I rated myself as beginner/entry level but found that I was possibly more of an intermediate level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When my team came back we reviewed all of the exciting ideas and thoughts we had together. We have decided to start with planning and budgeting and then possibly implementing the use of American Express with our A/P process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We went live in July and implementation was very well and we felt as though it was very successful. Once we went live and worked in it for a few months were then fortunate to attend the conference. Once we attended our first several sessions we were very excited about what we had learned. It was exciting to know that we have the ability to integrate several different options to streamline our student management and payment options. The budgeting and planning options were also something that we are very excited about implement this year.
Does the job
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily access into it from the internet and the interface is very user friendly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when it freezes or glitches, and I have to restart everything. It is hard to communicate the issue to customer support to fix the issues instead of just restarting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to track and locate invoices. Good source to locate multiple data points
Really Good!
What do you like best about the product?
Great organization! I like that I am able to get a birds eye view of the financial status of projects. Makes for better understanding. I am also able to get the details of all of the records logged in an easier way. It has been so helpful. Thanks guys!
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes time upon logging in. It might be confusing sometimes when your currency is not available on the drop-down menu, so I always have to kind of keep in mind that I am dealing with a different currency than I have on my screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed of Analysis. I am better able to collate and synchronize customer data faster with the help of Sage Intacct. Revenue management has never been easier.

Really helpful for making key financial decisions. Great structure too!
Solid accounting system
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of the program as compared to our previous software, accpac, is refreshing. Lots of customizable reports in a reasonably easy to use software program.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud based system takes some getting used to. Constantly having to get a text with a login code gets cumbersome. You never seem to actually be able to tell it to remember you and the computer. Also the naming conventions for the periods are frustrating. The fact that you need to set up a quarterly period is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better and more robust accounting with faster reporting after month end. Also cloud based makes it easier to access from anywhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you ask a lot of questions up front. We bought some add on packages that ended up being a complete waste of money.
The software we support the most
What do you like best about the product?
It is the Commercial Management, Accounting, Human Resources Management, and Asset Management software that our business clients use the most. Therefore, it has become a tool with which we have a lot of experience and feel very comfortable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it falls short due to the lack of customization capability according to the real needs of our business clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped our company grow especially in terms of sales and specialized training.
Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
I like how robust Sage Intacct is. It can be customized and tailored to meet your specific accounting needs and their are a number of modules/ad-ons that can be implemented to assist with this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am very likely to recommend Sage Intacct as it has many capabilities to suit most needs. However, I am cautious to let anybody work in the platform without having adequate training, as there are many nuances to recording and reporting that I have had to learn about the hard way i.e. getting Intacct to reverse very subtle mistakes (checking the wrong box and throwing off months worth of revenue recognition schedules) etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to save a tremendous amount of time by utilizing many of the automated modules - Especially the revenue recognition and fixed assets modules. We also utilize the import templates to help with data entry. We are looking into implementing more of the modules offered by Sage Inttact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand that there are not many sources for help outside of the Intacct Community. I recommend hiring a consultant to bring you up to speed on the software so that you do not make irreversible mistakes.
Barely any issues
What do you like best about the product?
It runs smoothly most of the time. I rarely run into any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it is down it takes forever to boot back up.

I like how everything is run together in one system.
