Try Sage - You'll never look back
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate other applications with this software
What do you dislike about the product?
$800 a class. You have to pay each time you take the web class. It's a lot for a Non-Profit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely closing and preparation of P&Ls for 9 entities under our one umbrella
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As compared to QuickBooks, Sage is an excellent choice. We have saved manpower and continue to learn ways to improve our processes which Sage is capable of handling.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Sage, it is very user friendly and we have no issues in our office coordinating work within the program. I can run any report I need in a timely manner and make adjustments with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it takes a while to run a GL Detail report, which makes budget variance work a little time consuming

financial statements, journal entries, juggling multiple entities
Fun and Informative
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed getting the opportunity to learn and network with other Intacct users and professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it would have been more beneficial to have the actual classes start on Monday or Tuesday since there were so many good classes, it was hard to schedule all the classes I wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Sage Intacct to service are clients on the cloud. Intacct has a variety of accounting modules which allow us to service many clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the Intacct community and learning center. There is a wealth of information.
Life Changing Software
What do you like best about the product?
The documentation and intuitive user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
The bank rec module is clumsy, but was addressed in the next release due out Nov 2018
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking funds in a not for profit. Automated approvals for our cash disbursements

Dig in. The boundaries of this software are nearly limitless
Sage Intacct works for us!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is easy to navigate and offers great features. My favorite is the reporting and dashboards. We are able to create and run reports and display dashboards to the management team so they can easily track where they are with their spending throughout the year.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently my main dislike is the bank reconciliation feature. It is very cumbersome and outdated. Fingers crossed this will be updated soon so I can cut back on my time spent reconciling and complete our month end close sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous program we had made creating and sharing reports very time consuming. With Dashboards we are able to easily share our numbers with the team in real time without much hassle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Attend the Sage Intacct Advantage conference! It provides opportunities to ask questions, learn new features and meet with your Intacct Reps and partners to network in person.

The layout and organization of the software is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One pain is not being able to get back to the top level once you go to a subsidiary and close the top level, you have to log back in.

They allow you to customize your plan according to the size of your organization. Which makes it good value for money

Innovative Accounting Software
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct isn't static - they're constantly improving on it and staying up to date with the needs of the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constant change makes it more prone to bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rev rec, internal controls, and audit efficiencies.
Alot of fun to interact with other users.

Alot of fun to interact with other colleagues and network. Also to explore add on software

A couple sessions by partners seemed like a sales pitch.

Month end closes. I now see that there is month end close software

What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, Sage Intacct is user friendly. If you are having an issue or need to learn how to use a function the Help icon or Intacct Community are great resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because we are a non-profit our funds are allocated to many different funding sources. We often struggle with the reportis and budgeting functions, simply because of the way we operate.
