sage is ok for small companies not a solution for mfg

none we stopped using except for history data

What do you like best about the product?
We are one of their largest users and they have created controls and systems just so the software runs smoothly for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times when working through tough problems, the salespeople and our customer service don't remember our needs or our processes which wastes times in meetings going over it time and time again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we're focused on is the shift from ASC 605 to 606 and Intacct has built an entirely new system just for these issues that most companies are facing.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easiest system I’ve used. Took less than a week to get adjusted with.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of unnecessary steps, but still easy to remember.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps find what’s in stock, ease of billing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of bookmarks when constantly using one part of sage instead of looking through all of the tabs they provide you
Intacct Accounts Payable has Streamlined our Business
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is very easy to use and quite intuitive. I like the user interface and ease to set up security roles and permissions to have a well segregated and audited process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there is nothing we dislike about the product. They are currently in beta of a new user interface and we spend much of our time working in the beta version which is very nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from Quickbooks to Intacct and find the two products to be on completely different levels as far as feature sets. Intacct automates a lot of processes for us and the reporting is excellent. No longer need to use Excel so much.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A key to getting started in the right direction is to get with a good implementation specialist.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can manage all of our companies from one system. Navigating through sage is usually pretty easy and straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you have to pretty much manually enter everything when there’s 16 pages of credit card statements it would be easier if it could do it for you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track a big company of ours with it. They have multiple companies so it’s easy for everything to all be in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good for keeping track of all of your companies if you have multiple.
Fast and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
AR is a really simple process in Sage. It doesn't require a lot of information, yet has the ability to store all the information you want, by attaching outside documents. There is plenty of space to make internal notes and the process is smooth and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout of AR is a bit old fashioned even when you are running the new Beta software. It surprises me that it isn't a little more fluid and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have everything in one place, rather than having accounting in one spot and inventory in another. It makes it easy to see the flow of everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it, just be patient, it was a pretty steep learning curve even for the software savvy.
Great System to Manage Grants
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, easy to understand, the dashboards are a great help and running reports is easy

It can get a little visually cluttered at times

Able to process invoices quickly and track payments easily
Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features on Intacct is the search functions. It is easy to look up vendors, invoices, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the check printing function. It was easy but when you make a mistake you have to go through a lot to void and reprint check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to import spreadsheets makes AP/AR a lot easier.

Ease of use UI with a newer clean UI just implemented. Clear audit trail

The poor speed/reliability of syncs with moderate use of automated import/exports (SF Connectors etc)

Clear accounting of all business wide transactions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a good option due to its capabilities for a small/medium sized company with none to little automation/connectors.
