Very good tool to work with while being online
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to log in anywhere there is internet. I don't have to have the same computer when I need to do work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program can be very restricting on what you're allowed to do. The imports are also troublesome when they don't import, usually because something was required on the import and the descriptions aren't always up to date on what is required, or your settings limit how you're able to import
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having multiple accountants logged in at the same time, making entries without issues. Manager approvals on invoice entries
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very user friendly, with plenty of self help options.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no complaints or dislikes on my end of things.

We used to have reporting issues, now we can break things down by event etc.
Very user friendly multifaceted tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Sage is extremly user friendly and easy to learn. Sage Univeristy and the Help Center are extremely helpful if you're not sure how something works or how to use something. I keep learning more and more what Sage Intacct can do for me that I've previously done manually, and they keep expanding on features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more learning modules to show you features you could be using, with examples and perhaps videos, because I am sure that I am not using the software to its full potential.

Infinite customizability in reporting to show exactly what I want.

I feel like the I should be able to better customize the standard reports to show what I want vs. having to create my own from scratch.

Adding discounts on the payments screen is something that could be very useful for me.

Overview of Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
It is a more modernised system with potential to be an all in one system for accountants. The reoccuring journals are a great feature which allows you to save time creating journals. The consolidation of accounts is a great way to review company accounts on a whole without any manipulation of data. To create new nominal codes can't be any easier and the account mapping allows us to easily implement our processes on recording transactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price tag of additional packages is something that maybe needed to be looked into
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be easily look into the consolidated accounts with out outside manipulation. The ease of finding information i.e invoice numbers and the audit trails allows us to get to the bottom of each issue that may arise.

The interface is very easy to use and their file system is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loading times on some older files may take longer than new ones.

Sage is allowing us to track all of our company's invoices and allowing us to process them in a timely manner.
Dimensionality Unlocks Data Insights
What do you like best about the product?
By far and away the best feature of Sage Intacct is the capability to dive into the data. The use of dimensions that can be applied as needed across all GL account numbers allows reporting functionality unlike anything else I've seen in a standard accounting software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current in-product budgeting solution is extremely cumbersome. The partner solution of Sage Intacct Planning is a fantastic tool, but that requires an additional subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our previous system, our chart of accounts was incredibly static. The flexibility of Sage Intacct's dimensions allows much greater detail in both budgeting and reporting. The ease of use is so great that our department heads are all able to track their respective expenses directly in the software, eliminating the wait time for monthly expense reports. The time savings alone in reporting have made this an excellent choice for our organization.

The cost of Sage Intacct can be relatively high, especially for smaller organizations or those with tight budgets. Pricing is based on the number of users and features, which can add up.
