Frontegg variety of tools is what makes their platform exciting
What do you like best about the product?
Frontegg's variety of tools is what makes their platform exciting. They have multiple client SDKs that support multiple versions of every technology, like Vue, React, and Next. They have backend SDKs like NodeJS and Python and also they give the ability to work with direct APIs to Frontegg servers. This is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple SDKs are an awesome idea. But as many SDKs you have it becoming a struggle to work with. I feel the SDKs are of good quality but the documentation is missing in some parts. It's minor because the commonly used features are documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I buy the Frontegg platform plan I pay with my money for creating money. I pay, I have more time to handle my product features. I shouldn't care about security flows like authentication and session management. They do everything. It is worths it.
Frontegg's frontend abilities are innovative
What do you like best about the product?
Frontegg has strong client-facing abilities. The UI UX is well done. The frontend SDKs are varied and contain a lot of npm libraries in good quality. Nice level of accessibility. I'm satisfied!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of documentation for the SDKs. More code examples and project examples like code sandbox or Stackblitz can help me to understand how to integrate complicated abilities like Frontegg has. I know it's not easy and a lot of platforms failed to do it, but with the quality of Frontegg, I think they can.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A high level of UI is important for us as a company that the client side is super important. I feel that Frontegg is headed in the right direction and this is why I chose it and continue to choose it every day. I use them a lot and I'm satisfied.
Multi-factor authentication is Frontegg's killer feature
What do you like best about the product?
Multi-factor authentication is the feature I like the most in the Frontegg platform. It's easy to configure and clear how to use it. It protects my customers and my system from hackers. In my humble opinion, MFA is a must for any login flow. It's secured and involved multiple factors.
What do you dislike about the product?
While using multi-factor authentication is easy, integrating the SDK itself was a bit hard for me. There are missing parts in the documentation for a few features. As I understood they are working on improving it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of using multi-factor authentication is the biggest benefit of Frontegg. As I said it's easy to configure. This is why I chose Frontegg and it just works. It solves one of my most important requirements.
Breached password feature is exceptional!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Frontegg is that they do things smartly. You can see it with the new feature they implemented that is called breached password. They can identify that a. password is breached and they ask the user to change it. This is exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frontegg has tracking abilities related to user management in the dashboard they provide and it's really good. I think they can add more reports and notifications for analysts to improve their usage of them. Reports can improve the way my company works by getting more insights into how to getting improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way they think is the benefit. Every feature is developed after deep thinking (this is how it looks). They are open to improvements and adding new features that they think are required. A breached password feature is a good example of what Frontegg does right.
Frontegg default pallette is cool
What do you like best about the product?
Frontegg default pallette is cool. I love the styling that is given to my screens with zero effort. I just had to customize the social login buttons and change the primary color to get a got experience in terms of styling. I feel that they thought about it and brought a very well-done styling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something very minor. There is a bug when someone is signing up with Google, the info is fetched, including the picture. Then I can't remove the picture. They have a button to remove it but it doesn't work. It's a bug. I don't want to see the picture. I expect to see the avatar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's all about styling. To sell you should have a nice appearance and Frontegg doesn't fail to do it. This is the small details, but also for the bigger - security flows - the final solution is more than my expectations. It's not just another platform, it really helps me in my day-to-day job.
A fast integration compared to other tools in the market
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Frontegg APIs is an easy task. It fits also unexperienced developers. The way you should use it is straightforward and makes sense. It was a fast integration with our tool. Especially compared to our experience with other tools in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited because of features that are available only for paid plans. There is no access to all the capabilities Frontegg provides so it's a bit challenging to work like that when you have complex scenarios like in our product. We had to pay to continue working with the product that it's reasonable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most valuable feature of Frontegg is secured access to my product. I can decide how strict I want my product to be and the security is done by them according to my configuration. This is wonderful!
Valuable user analytics and insights for decision making
What do you like best about the product?
Valuable user analytics is the feature I appreciate the most in Frontegg. I love that I can analyze user behaviour, and make decisions according to my findings. User insights are integral to our management and getting them out-of-the-box is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Frontegg provides various Web SDKs, it lacks in the mobile development area. In my company, in addition to a web app, we maintain two mobile apps, one for Android and another for iOS. Unfortunately, the Frontegg platform doesn't offer a solution to the latter. I hope that the Frontegg team can deliver a solution soon; meanwhile we channel requests to the Web API in the backend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest benefit of Frontegg for me is time saving. The quick and easy integration with Frontegg's Web SDKs saved us a lot of development time, which translates directly to a great saving of money.

The user interface this platform implement is very intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface this platform implement is very intuitive. It's very clear how to do operations and navigate to the right place to configure my auth flows and the advanced features that I need to use. It reduces my need to get help from other experienced developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation to automating changing user roles and permissions to a big number of users simultaneously will be helpful. Also, the option to do bulk operations on demand in one click by a predefined configuration is not in the platform. That's missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my need to implement integrations by myself. Frontegg provides me a few options for a quick and easy-to-use integration with Hubspot and other tools. It is lovely to experience such a platform like Frontegg.
Solid authentication
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create a login box and integrate it into the platform. The security features, including SSO and multi-factor authentication, aligned perfectly with our data protection goals
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrating webhooks into our platform posed significant challenges, demanding a profound engagement with intricate external system integration and diverse use case scenarios. Scaling to accommodate fluctuating request volumes, perfecting error handling mechanisms, and fortifying security protocols all contributed to the complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in Education Technology and are looking for a way for users from all over the world to login to our platform and collaborate on joint projects. One of the requirements was login with several layers of authentication.
easy integration, no assistance is needed
What do you like best about the product?
what i love the most is the easy integration, very fast, no struggles. just ask question in the chat or find answers in google. i really like it, easy to implement;
What do you dislike about the product?
Frontegg provides all in one solution. It's good for me to integrate with one platform for user identity and auth flows and UI implementation and customization. But when you do it maybe there is a cost - one company that has to handle everything. Maybe there is no other option. If the features they provide are enough for you like in my case, it should be your favorite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Frontegg I implemented my login page in 3 minutes and integrate it in 5 minutes. The overall work was very straightforward so the experience is awesome! They know how to do it!
