Great affordable user management platform

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, UI is pretty nice, self explanatory, staff are highly motivated to assist and are awesome. Price is better than competitors and they offer really nice features stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some features to be implemented in order to make a more full and complete solution. but its a product company and that makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing customers identities, login flows, security context, permissions, SSO, can be super complex and sometimes requires a large team and management.
FE helps you eliminate the time you need to invest in this.

What do you like best about the product?
Frontegg has a great support, every time we need them they respond super quickly. We have a dedicated slack channel where our eng can ask questions and ask for help.

Their platform is also pretty user friendly, easy to use and configure our app
What do you dislike about the product?
We already have a 3 years partnership.. don't have urgent or big issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frontegg saves engineers time because we don't need to maintain our own IAM service. Its also very easy for stakeholders to use the tool to controll users access

What do you like best about the product?
API integration, competent and responsive support team.
Frontegg very flexible, allows you to implement many things in different ways, depending on the need
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation pretty good, but as always can be better in some cases. Some hidden features not documented, but accessible - which is good. SDK UI not enough customizable, that's why we chose API integration - but again, I really like flexibility of that product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very nice integration. Also Frontegg allows us to use best practices of modern Authentication & Authorization and stop supporting our custom code.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Frontegg is the support the teams provide for our specific use cases. They are quick to respond whenever we are stuck with a problem and will jump on a call with a particular use case with their platform and what we are trying to accomplish. Having the ability to Slack them anytime is an amazing feature to have.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Frontegg offers a strong foundation for authentication and user management, the customization options for the hosted login UI are somewhat limited. Some of our users were confused by tenant-switching flows in multi-tenant scenarios. We also encountered occasional challenges integrating with our existing RBAC system due to Frontegg's opinionated structure. It’s a solid tool, but could benefit from more flexibility and clearer guidance for complex enterprise use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Imubit, Frontegg is helping us eliminate the overhead of building and maintaining authentication, user management, and tenant-aware access from scratch. As a company delivering advanced AI and process optimization solutions to the energy sector, security and scalability are critical—Frontegg gives us that out of the box. It allows our engineering team to focus on developing the core intelligence of our platform rather than spending cycles on login flows, SSO integrations, or user settings portals.

What do you like best about the product?
FrontEgg support is very responsive and willing to help, both with their product and other services that consume it as IDP.
What do you dislike about the product?
API documentation is incomplete at times
Downtime can be unpredictable -- we have had an number of total outages of our platform due to FrontEgg issues, some without prior notification
FrontEgg does not seem to comply fully with OIDC or SAML specifications at times

What do you like best about the product?
Implementing Frontegg has been one of the most straightforward experiences with an identity management platform. The ease of integration, especially during the initial setup, is awe-inspiring. Their support team stands out—they're responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the onboarding process. We also appreciated the flexibility in UI customization, which allowed us to maintain consistency with our brand. Managing multiple sub-vendors has been simplified, and the migration from our previous provider was smoother than expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the documentation. While it's generally solid, enhanced search capabilities and clearer differentiation between various ID types would make navigation easier and reduce setup friction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frontegg is solving several key challenges around authentication, user management, and partner access. Previously, we faced limitations with inflexible auth flows and complex multi-tenant access requirements. Frontegg provided us with a robust and customizable authentication layer that not only streamlined our internal user access but also allowed us to securely extend authentication to our partners and sub-vendors.This has significantly reduced our development effort, accelerated time-to-market, and allowed our engineering team to focus on core product features rather than building auth from scratch. The built-in support for roles, SSO, and UI customization has been especially beneficial for meeting our enterprise customers’ needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The well designed SDKs for frontend and backend integrations. The elegant implementation of features such as entitlements and feature-flags. The customer support is top notch. It only takes a few lines of code to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the current name recognition of Okta. Still a little pricy for startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User authentication and authorization for SaaS app and API protection.

Integration documentation is a little out of date. Could do with a review.

Self service portal is a fantastic feature. Allows me to defer account setup to the client in a multi tenant setup.

What do you like best about the product?
A lot of features come out of the box. So much so that many customer authentication requirements are just a configuration away.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside: having an intermediary might cause some cybersecurity concerns, we need better documentation about the data shared and the risk (or lack thereof) of Frontegg being breached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completely replaces the need of building complex user management UI.

What do you like best about the product?
The React SDK and user-friendly portal made it easy to integrate features like multi-tenancy, MFA, and role-based access controls. Since we have a small team, this allowed us to focus on enhancing our core product rather than building authentication from scratch. Additionally, we felt confident scaling to multiple clients due to the robust security features and user management services that Frontegg provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit more detailed documentation or examples for advanced customizations would be helpful. However, their support team has always been responsive via Slack or email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a comprehensive and scalable user management system. We faced the challenge of implementing complex features like multi-tenancy, MFA, etc and building these features internally would have probably taken 3-4 months of development time. Frontegg provided these functionalities out of the box, which allowed us to onboard new clients quickly and let them manage their own users. This has not only accelerated our development process, but also enhanced our platform's security and scalability.
