What do you like best about the product?
I like the hands-free automation that actually executes changes rather than just giving advice. It eliminates manual toil by automating cost-saving infrastructure changes instantly. Before using CAST AI, our Kubernetes spend was a black box, and after connecting it, we discovered we were over-provisioned by 40%. The automated rebalancing cut our monthly bill by half within the first week.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it's costly. The setup complexity is an issue along with limited documentation and pricing. I wish there was better SMB pricing, clearer onboarding, and more granular policy documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the range of diverse resources that the tool offers and, in addition to the constant updates focused on improving the tool, it is possible to notice the appreciation of those who work on this project and their commitment to excellence. The ability to identify how much each team's application running on the cluster costs is sensational.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, its scaling is not that interesting. I don't know if this happens because of the calculations of Requests and Limits, but it often tries to spin up some nodes with absurd amounts of memory, which would make me spend much more than save. Therefore, it is necessary to impose several limits and not let it run loose; otherwise, the cost may end up increasing instead of decreasing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am using CAST AI to control the automatic scaling of my cluster, as well as the vertical scaling of my workloads, focusing on cost reduction and operation optimization. This is possible thanks to the artificial intelligence of CAST AI in allocating nodes with the best machine type for optimized operation, performance, and cost. Additionally, I also use CAST AI to turn on and off my non-productive clusters, focusing on cost savings.

What do you like best about the product?
I use CAST AI for rebalancing the clusters, and it has been really helpful for our team in managing nodes. I personally love the spot fallback feature, where if the spot instance is not available, it will switch to the on-demand instance. This prevents downtime in lower environments. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy, which I appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel leaning towards the open-source tools like Karpenter, but I feel CAST AI has its advantages.

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use CAST AI to reduce overall cluster costs and easily manage the cluster. It helps avoid interruptions by predicting spot interruptions, which is crucial for putting workloads in spot without causing disruptions. I also appreciate its wide range of features, which stood out to me as a significant advantage when switching from Karpenter. The CAST AI team made our initial onboarding smooth, which I found very helpful.

I think the UI and error messages can be improved. The UI could be made better to enhance accessibility.

What do you like best about the product?
I use CAST AI for k8s scaling and really like its evictor feature. It helps with managing the cost and evicting stateful workloads, which other autoscalers are not doing. I also appreciate the spot instance management. The initial setup of CAST AI was very easy.

Mature Automation, Spot-On Recommendations, and Great Reports
What do you like best about the product?
The automation is very mature, and the recommendations are also on point. The reports are great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the report are still a little confusing to read, especially in the optimization overview. Also, if it weren’t limited only to Kubernetes, it would be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation aspect of right-sizing and choosing the best node type for a Kubernetes cluster.
Efficient Kubernetes Management with Intuitive Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can set up custom nodes and that it is easy to override when needed. And its user interface is friendly. CAST AI makes managing Kubernetes clusters, which can be a bit daunting, much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
An area that CAST AI can improve is its accuracy when it comes to predictive workloads. Sometimes it doesn't anticipate sudden nonlinear traffic spikes. Also, improving overall visibility for more complex or hybrid architectures would be interesting. Maybe some agentic capabilities in the future.

I appreciate CAST AI's cost-effectiveness; it slashed my AWS bill nearly to approximately 40-45%. Their service provides cloud storage billing at a comparatively low cost. The autonomous scaling and bill packing features are also beneficial, and the initial setup was nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the autonomous feature, like moving pods or shutting down extra servers, could be more effective, although it's accurate for me at the moment.
