What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, the dashboard is well designed and very simple to navigate.
Usually, in big clusters there could be a lot of potential vulnerabilities (CVEs); ARMO helps focus your effort on finding the most critical vulnerabilities that require your attention by showing the top high risk vulnerabilities.
It also has a great compliance feature that helps make the cluster ready for production environments based on your company requirements.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited customization options: While ARMO offers a range of essential security features, there are some limitations when it comes to customization. As each organization has unique security requirements, it would be beneficial to have more flexibility in tailoring the software to specific needs. However, this is a minor drawback considering the overall value provided by ARMO's existing feature set.

Learning curve for beginners: Although ARMO's user interface is user-friendly, individuals who are new to Kubernetes security may require some time to familiarize themselves with the platform. While this is understandable given the complexity of the subject matter, it would be beneficial to have more accessible onboarding resources or tutorials to help newcomers get up to speed quickly.

ARMO - The New Gold Standard in Kubernetes Security

  • May 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ARMO's groundbreaking approach to Kubernetes security is a game-changer. Its unique microservices-based architecture effortlessly integrates with Kubernetes deployments, embedding security at the code level. This real-time threat detection and mitigation strategy is impressive, providing an unmatched level of visibility and control.

Despite the inherent complexity of Kubernetes security, ARMO's user-friendly interface and dashboard simplify the process. Advanced analytics and AI-driven insights provide a real-time, unified view of your entire security posture, making ARMO an invaluable asset for any DevOps team. In my book, it's a well-deserved ten-star product.
What do you dislike about the product?
While ARMO is a stellar product for Kubernetes security, it does come with a steep learning curve, particularly for those new to the field. Users with limited prior exposure to Kubernetes security may find the initial setup and fine-tuning of security policies to be somewhat challenging. It would benefit from more robust onboarding resources or interactive tutorials for beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ARMO is effectively solving several pressing challenges in the realm of Kubernetes security that have been a persistent cause for concern in my role as a DevOps engineer.

Visibility and Control: Managing the security of multiple Kubernetes clusters can be an overwhelming task, especially when dealing with a large number of microservices. ARMO provides comprehensive visibility into every microservice across all clusters, streamlining the management process and making it easier to maintain a secure environment.

Real-Time Threat Detection and Mitigation: ARMO embeds security at the code level, enabling it to detect threats in real-time. This has significantly decreased the time spent identifying and resolving security threats, enabling my team to focus more on developing new features and less on firefighting security issues.

Unified Security Posture: In the past, obtaining a comprehensive understanding of our security posture was a complex task that involved piecing together information from multiple sources. ARMO's ability to provide a unified, real-time view of our entire security posture has simplified this process, helping us make better-informed security decisions more quickly.

By addressing these problems, ARMO has greatly improved the efficiency of our DevOps workflow. We are able to maintain a more secure environment with less effort, freeing up valuable time and resources that can be better used elsewhere. Overall, ARMO is proving to be an invaluable tool in maintaining a secure and efficient Kubernetes deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily setup a cluster scan for vulnerabilities in your cluster setup and scan for vulnerabilities in your containers and deployments.

Get notifications about new vulnerabilities via Slack or other notification channels.

Overall, I would highly recommend Armosec to any organization looking to secure their cloud-native applications. With its comprehensive set of features and automation capabilities, it is an effective and efficient solution for maintaining security and compliance in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently we did not find any issues with the platform.

Two minor things:

Integration: Armosec integrates with a wide range of other security and DevOps tools, but integrating with some specific tools may require additional effort and configuration.

Learning Curve: Armosec has a wide range of features and capabilities, which may take some time for organizations to fully learn and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the product for our container scanning and vulnerabilities. We did use Snyk before, but AMRO is as good , not even better and easier to use because is will scan not only our containers but also any other deployed containers
