an easy warehouse db
What do you like best about the product?
i liked the easyness to perform tasks like create tables, update columns, and make users and changing their privileges , once you get a hold of how to use the web interphase
What do you dislike about the product?
i think it could have a build in visual help to learn to perform the tasks, they are actually easy, but it could be bulletproof for dummyes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
well it solves the infrastructure problem, you are free of searching for hardware, servers and tune up, its benefits are that is fast and reliable anywhere

its very easy to learn for people with basic expertise as a dba
New to DB2
What do you like best about the product?
I am a new DBA on z/OS. I've found this system to be very intuitive and IBM's support is just as great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about DB2 is not knowing all of the ways to use it. Example, tips and tricks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm still new to it so I'm not sure as of yet.

mature, powerful enough to run our main frame environment that scales, and integrate well.

Complex, finding experienced and skilled employees run and help our environment.

DB2 helps stores all our main frame environment data for our customer transactions. Benefits that it works integrates well with RACF IBM security.

The best part of DB2 is the number of hardware platforms DB2 runs on, IBM i/z, and LUW.

The tools are good but sometime a little clunkly
