Powerful insights for entertainment industry audiences

What do you like best about the product?
Helps identify potential audiences for TV and film clients, gives incredibly actional creative considerations for those audiences, great for identifying comp titles to paint a clearer picture of our target audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adjusting to a new format and platform after so many years of using another vendor can be challenging, some features that are in beta will be fantastic once they're finalized but are a bit clunky still in beta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Awesome for pitch work -- showing that we understand target and opportunity audiences. Also really helpful for briefing creative teams -- the creative considerations based on personalities and interests has been a game changer for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Audiense is a easy -to-use tool, jam-packed with insights nuggets about any given audiences. I love the flexibility given by the various entry-points into the data. I love the benchmark functionality as well as all the filters which enable us to contextualise our findings as well as always focus on what would have the highest impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly confused by the 2 segmentation types of Affinity or Interconnectivity
Not a fan of the overall map. I usually find the individual cluster more insightful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Audiense helps us develop much more tailored and data-driven media plans. We also use the tool occasionally to identify opinion leaders as well as influencers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to identify small niche, or get a better broader understanding on audiences, Audiense is must-have. I have been an avid user for more than 5 years and I recommend it to anyone working in marketing, advertising and PR

Fast and easy to use for novices AND for power users. Good roadmap. Too bad it's mostly Twitter

What do you like best about the product?
It's very versatile for noobs and experts. The tool is fast to spin up and is often immediately useful to new users who want to grasp a topic. Power users can also dive deep into the data and exports to understand communities.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can only use Twitter data. It's so good you end up being frustrated you can't run the tool on other datasets (Instagram, Youtube). We're an agency and often see clients wanting the same deliverable for other types of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients are large brands who want to understand the online communities discussing their products, brands or even topics. Traditionnaly we look at what people say. Here Audiense helps us understand who the people are when they're not talking about the product/brand. It's very complementary to our more "traditional" Social Listening analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
The Audiense dashboard, filters, and community insights functionality is the perfect way to expand your social media reach and to grow your community!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would have kept the virtual tutorials with their teams, live, as opposed to recorded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems whatsoever, and I have substantially grown my Twitter followers and ratio using Audiense.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to use the online tutorials and also compare your Twitter following with other influences to increase your relevant outreach within your community. The reporting functionality is also outstanding!

What do you like best about the product?
I'm especially fascinated by Audiense's ability to identify segments within certain audiences. It's even more helpful to get more granular beyond that point, whether it be demo skews, interests, or online habits.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. The only knock would be the price - but for a company or person using it every day, it would quickly pay for itself. It's a tremendous product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Audiense to help inform audience profiles and uncover specific characteristics around who we target in our marketing campaigns. We consider over-indexing brands, people, locations, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with it. Ask lots of questions. There's so much I didn't even realize was at my disposal until I hopped on a call with two Audiense representatives.

What do you like best about the product?
Getting a macro look into my audiences, especially the content they have been sharing
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the categorisation name of the different segments the platform spits out don't quite compute (requiring editing)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a valuable tool for both audience analysis prior to campaign launch + it is a useful sales tool allowing us to visualize our audience targeting ideas to the client
