Boomi developer ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like ease of developing an integration the product is self document there are a lot of options for connectors pre built there is a vast support network of resources help and training available at aid in understanding the department life cycle
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I can think of is the cost but you will realise it's worth it once you save time on developing

using Boomi for many years Boomi is currently utilised for many integration processes in our org with love the ease to use and ease of building for processes and maintaining them some features that we would like to see are ability to maintain process versions and ability to revert back to an older version

Dell boomi best part is non technical staff are able to view and understand the integrations there is a lot of power in the platform for complex integrations with the ability to expand using Java ability to submit test cases in great

Usage of the platform can be a challenge country technology is a data driven world and l world like to have more robust reporting to view runs errors platform status and developed process all in one place
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can build integrations with no code at all we were able to setup and deploy an integration from Sales force to net suite in a week the platform ease of use makes it easier to train employees on the platforms

Dell boomi allows You to do law code development to create integration between multiple application it is a simple drag to drop interface that can be pick up by any developer

one thing that I can't do is when calling a subprocess where I can't pass parameters with I wish it would have

Easy to use and fast you can move important data without being afraid of issues

Great tools to manage and prioritize tasks for IT transformation interactive develop key aspects of project and programs manage them as a leader develop difficult views of projects and programs and other related task

Always running out of connectors it takes careful management to not run out in our non production environment there's also no easy way to view queue management

We are a multiple talent private atom cloud install need our citizen developers come up to speed quickly with the minimum amount of the ramp up timre

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use zero coding required the platform is on the cloud it provides out of the box connectivity to most platforms easy to maintain and very active community company quickly it's an intuitive product and makes creating integrations easy

Dell boomi Community can exceed the development pipeline capacity for therefore resulting in longer than desired time to market for futures

Simple to use quick to develop I was able to develop a workable process in one day very powerful if winning to do some coding where needed to large number of connector available for most inter prise apps

Dell Boomi provided full function while still being easy to use and train others to use we are a a multi tenant provide atom cloud install so our citizen developers to come up to speed quickly with the minimum amount of the ramp up timer loco no code software which makes it easy to develop integrations

Data bases I understand that it's not an E T L but it get quit demanding on the atom if there are huge data sets involved

We tried to integrated different system like SAP E R P for don't C R M from different departments minor frame systems FTP and providing web service for different external clients

What do you like best about the product?
Using Boomi and their run time environments from last 2 year and experience is awesome and the steps provided by boomi to configure the environment are really simple and clear
What do you dislike about the product?
May need some time to train and there is some learning curve however extensive training material is available for this online
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
using the online Boomi documentation and the online community form guided me 90% through the process after a call to customer support and with their response the process was complete I did encounter an issue remaining the file to be sent but Boomi customer support leveraged their internal resources to figure out the problem and provided an alternate solution which I have put into place we are now using Boomi to convert the billing date to a standard EDI 210 format giving each file a unique name and transferring the files seamlessly customer through the automated scheduled process love it

- Atom details and actions on the Process Reporting page can be a bit confusing to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dell Boomi is able to successfully transfer mainframe files that Mediaocean uses for billing purposes for a wide array of clients into our Netsuite Environment in a manner that is efficient and concise, without the hassle of having to manually map or change a large amount of system parameters, as might be the case with other data management systems.

Not enjoy complex functionality natively resulting in complex groovy builds which is leads to slow runtime is if volume is large

It is great being able to plug in Boomi to some of our other automated systems and having feedback as to what happened with the file our teams are able to easily update existing process without descriptions
