Easy to Learn UI, But Costs Add Up with Add-Ons
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very easy user interface and is simple to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive and requires the purchase of several additions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to search through phones for possible criminal charges.
Truly User-Driven Team That Listens
What do you like best about the product?
They are extremely user-driven and genuinely listen to what users have to say.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use a lot of integrated products, and at times support can be slower than we’d like when issues come up. There also tends to be a lot of back-and-forth before things get resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the manual workload has been key for me.
Essential Tool for Law Enforcement with Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the mission of Magnet Forensics, which focuses on finding the truth in data and helping seek justice for victims. I also appreciate their great customer service. Setting up Magnet Forensics was simple. Overall, I think these aspects add to a positive experience with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Magnet Forensics for access and analysis of data during digital forensic investigations for law enforcement.
Intuitive and Effective, Training Costs a Concern
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of the product to use and the ability to contact staff quickly. The product is easy to use and the training courses offered by Magnet Forensics are thorough. When I need customer service or have any questions, it is easy to contact a Magnet Forensics employee and get an answer quickly. Staff is open to new ideas and customizing a workflow for our specific lab. The initial setup was fairly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The training is expensive and sometimes out of budget, which impacts our ability to use each product to its full advantage. Without adequate training, we're not able to fully utilize the software. It would be beneficial if Magnet released short monthly videos to help keep up with updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet Forensics unlocks phones and processes iPhones, crucial for solving cases. Accessing data from unlocked phones is key for detectives.
Intuitive and Functional Forensic Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the intuitive UI of Magnet Forensics. I also appreciate the added functionality that it provides over other tools like Encase and FTK. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It tends to use a lot of my system resources

I use Magnet Forensics to support internal investigations, solving challenges with remote acquisitions and forensic examinations.
Great Lab Tools with Strong Customer Engagement and Continuous Updates
What do you like best about the product?
The tools we’ve integrated into our lab work well, have great customer engagement and are constantly being updated to reflect changes in the field

Sometimes product changes happen very quickly, can be difficult for planning budgets at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing lab efficiency and ease of reporting. Device access support.
The Best Tool Around
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Magnet Forensics listens and builds their tools around user feedback. I also find the initial setup very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s difficult to keep up with the new products and tools. A better communication on these updated tools (like the GrayKey Preserve) and how to get them would be useful

Magnet Forensics resolves exposure issues in digital forensics, making it my day-to-day tool.
Axiom Process Is Incredibly User-Friendly for Processing and Review
What do you like best about the product?
How user friendly all the software is to process and review
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no dark mode for Axiom Process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to extract data with the most up to date software which allows us to investigate ICAC cases in a fast manner but also with confidence the data is correct.
Streamlined Workflow and a Strong Forensic Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the streamlined workflow across all the tools, and how well Axiom works as a forensic tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that Media Categorization and other menu options can’t be set as defaults. I also don’t like how long it takes to export a JSON from Axiom into Griffeye.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its making my process so much easier to find and tag pertinent artifacts quickly and easily.
Great Mobile Device Access and a Clear Support Matrix
What do you like best about the product?
Access to mobile devices with a great support matrix so you know what a device should be supported for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would get at least all lightning iPhones bruteforce support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to newer security patches of android devices.
