Up-to-Date Forensics with Magnet
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Magnet Forensics for ICAC cases and it allows me to quickly identify relevant images as well as parse through non-relevant ones. Magnet stays up to date with current Android and iOS, which is extremely important and helpful. Most suspects keep their phones updated with automatic updates on, so when we have to work on a phone, it's helpful that we don't have to wait long for an update from Magnet. The initial setup of Magnet Forensics was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface for some of the reports we hand to the investigator who don’t have experience with Magnet products they prefer the interface of Cellebrite Reader.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to quickly identify relevant images and sort through non-relevant ones. It's always updated with the latest Android and iOS, which helps when suspects have updated phones, making it efficient for my ICAC cases.

Intuitive Artifact Parsing That Streamlines Our Caseload
What do you like best about the product?
Using magnet Axiom has allowed us to more efficiently process our caseload. The way the artifacts are parsed and presented makes it much more intuitive to find exactly what we are looking for compared to some other tools that we had used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside I have counted so far is that with Axiom Cyber the acquisition and processing happen in one step rather than allowing for the option to acquire and then process separately. In our environment we will acquire on the network, but we do our processing on standalone machines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Axiom, the ability to create a portable case has been a game changer for our particular organization. It allows us to have other Personnel looking at the case information while our examiners are digging deeper into the artifacts.
User-Friendly Interface, Room for Image Filter Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Magnet Forensics for its software interface and usability. The initial setup was easy, and I find these aspects most appealing about the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Magnet Axiom could determine all the software generated images and filter those out when reviewing Windows computer extractions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Magnet Forensics for determining user activities during specific time periods in my digital forensic investigations.
Powerful, intuitive, and time-saving forensics solution
What do you like best about the product?
How well it integrates computer, phone, and cloud evidence into a single case with powerful artifact recovery and analysis tools. The timeline and Connections features are fantastic for quickly uncovering key insights. Super intuitive interface too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Processing times can be long when dealing with massive cases (several terabytes). Everything else works really well for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eliminates the need for multiple fragmented tools by combining computer, mobile, and cloud forensics into one powerful platform. It also solves the problem of too much raw data by automatically extracting and organizing meaningful artifacts with excellent timeline and relationship views.
I complete investigations faster, find critical evidence more easily, and deliver higher-quality reports with less manual effort. It’s a real time-saver and makes my job noticeably easier.

Reliable, Efficient, and Personable Support from Magnet Forensics
What do you like best about the product?
Magnet Forensics is the most reliable and efficient company. They are personable and support provides beneficial feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if our online GrayKey could save extractions straight to a network folder, not the internal SSD
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magnet provides quicker acquisitions and product support through their solutions.

I like that Magnet Forensics is user-friendly and that they are always coming out with new features. This makes it easy to look through artifacts and helps solve cases faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
GrayKey brute force support for iOS devices needs improvement, as more iOS devices need to be supported. Also, the initial setup of Magnet Forensics was a little difficult.

Magnet Forensics helps me assist law enforcement with cases involving digital devices. Its user-friendly design makes it easy to look through artifacts and helps solve cases faster.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Magnet Forensics for its efficient collection tool and the significantly better insight it gives me into computer processes. I also appreciate its interface and customizability, which allow me to make it fit my specific needs.

Some of the timeline filtering options could be improved by the option to group by.

What do you like best about the product?
They are open to new ideas for their products and they are helpful explaining their current products

Their tools are geared a little more towards law enforcement side of forensics and not necessarily security defense side

Efficient Digital Forensics, Needs Better Phone Imaging
What do you like best about the product?
I like Magnet Forensics for its ease of use and wide platform capability. It's great that it can ingest many types of media. I also appreciate the graphical user interface (GUI) and the training program they provide. These aspects are proficient, make the most use of time, and are fiscally saving because it's a quality tool. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Magnet Acquire does not image cellphones very well. It would be better if there was a tool that doesn't rely on Windows drivers, or that the person using the tool doesn't have to go find and download them.

I use Magnet Forensics for its ability to quickly process images and return results. It's easy to use, supports many media types, and saves time and costs with its proficiency.
