KTern.AI CodeGenie Simplifies SAP Code and Documentation for RICEF Objects
What do you like best about the product?
I worked with the Code Genie feature, which helped to generate SAP code as well as functional and technical documentation. This made it easier to reduce the technical effort required for RICEF objects.
What do you dislike about the product?
In-app user onboarding experience could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines consultant effort by automatically generating the required information in a clear document format, making it easier to review later. One of its key capabilities is its direct integration with the SAP system, allowing users to prompt Code Genie to create new code or analyze existing code within SAP. After generating the solution, Code Genie can deploy the necessary code upon user approval, keeping user intervention to a minimum.

What do you like best about the product?
It was helpful for managing tasks and keeping the project on track. CodeGenie was especially useful in guiding me through solution ideation and helping me think through my options.

The in-app user onboarding experience could be improved to make it clearer and more intuitive.

The daily governance of tasks is becoming easier, and it’s helping me stay more organized day to day.

Codegenie could improve its accuracy so the user doesn’t have to keep prompting it repeatedly to get the code the user needs.

The Project Planner and my sign-off tab are both very useful

Hour wise task allocation and Parallel activity is little difficult to maintain but we do have workaround for the line items

KTern.AI delivered a fast, AI-driven assessment of the SAP landscape, providing clear visibility into custom code, WRICEF objects, scoring, and S/4HANA impact areas. The dashboards and reports from the assessment are well structured and easy to interpret, enabling teams to quickly pinpoint risks, scope, and effort without relying on heavy manual analysis. Overall, this approach helps accelerate assessment timelines, improves accuracy, and supports more confident decision-making at the start of transformation programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if the documentation covered more information on the technical integration aspects, with clearer detail on which areas of integration as going to get impacted ( if any) due to conversion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KTern.AI provided deep, custom code analysis and SOD compliance insights that helped us understand risks, remediation effort, and security gaps early in the assessment phase. Its business process profiling capability clearly showed where processes were used and how they were actually executed, which enabled more data-driven scope decisions. KTern.AI also identified relevant Fiori apps that could be activated to simplify the user experience and reduce the need for custom development. In addition, the project plan and timeline assessment reports helped us validate system complexity and objectively evaluate SI effort estimates. Overall, KTern.AI improved the accuracy of our assessment, reduced uncertainty, and supported confident planning and informed decision-making with the management team at the start of our transformation initiatives.

It clearly describes the functionality, includes up-to-date process flow diagrams and logic flows, and lists the related tables and fields tied to each requirement. This is a major advantage for both technical and functional teams during upgrade and conversion projects, as it significantly reduces manual effort and saves time. It also helps with new development requests by offering useful insights for creating code based on the provided Functional Specification (FRS) document.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ktern.AI could include a demonstration button that guides new users through the functionality of each button. This would make it easier to understand the application and use it effectively for upgradation and conversion projects.

It helps in cutting the time taken by the functional and technical team to understand the working flow of all the custom implementation and further planning.
